1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Sleeps 4
Crescent Beach is right outside your giant sliding-glass door at our condo at Beacher's Lodge 307! This cozy 1-bedroom getaway offers an oceanfront patio, kitchen, master bedroom suite and Murphy bed for guests. And the views are just incredible!

Beacher's Lodge 307 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath condo on the third floor of a beachfront building just 10 miles south of historic downtown St. Augustine. The Intracoastal Waterway is just to the west, with spectacular sunsets and quieter waters for kayaking, canoeing, and walking. And one of northeast Florida's absolute best beaches -- Crescent -- is just yards away, waiting to be explored! (Not to mention Fort Matanzas and all the other local attractions of this history-rich piece of the coast!)

Your favorite spot at Beacher's Lodge 307 is going to be the oceanfront balcony. It's just irresistible. You can hear the surf out here, and feel the balmy, salt-tinged breezes. If you're traveling with kids, you'll love this location too, because not only can you watch them in the swimming pool right below you, you can follow their progress down the private boardwalk to the beach -- all without moving from your seat in the cool shade of the balcony!

Our condo is compact but very efficiently designed, with a combined living and dining area (all with a great view of the sea!) and then a private, quiet bedroom. This is ideal if you have small children: just put them down for their nap in the bedroom and you have the entire run of the rest of the condo to enjoy some grown-up time! Or, if one of your party goes to sleep significantly earlier than others, they can get their rest without being disturbed (and nobody has to tiptoe around!).

The living and dining area contains a Murphy bed that converts to a queen bed for 2, a very relaxing easy chair, and a 42" HDTV. The dining table is right next to the sliding glass doors, so you can enjoy the view up close even when you must eat indoors. This table also makes a great game or laptop space (you have free community wireless Internet at Beacher's Lodge 307), so break out the cards and enjoy a night "in"!

Featuring new granite counters, the kitchenette in our condo is very well appointed, and we've filled the cabinets with dishes, cookware, utensils, and gadgets. The fridge is large enough for all your drinks and nibbles, the microwave and toaster oven stand ready for quick meals, and the stove is handy for home cooking. You just bring the food -- we've got everything else waiting for you!

The main part of our condo is designed for fun and togetherness, while the bedroom is nicely quiet and private. There's a firm, ultra-comfy king-sized bed in this room and a 38" HDTV.

The bathroom, with both shower and tub option, is convenient to both the bedroom and the living area. We also have all linens and towels are ready when you arrive and there are a washer and dryer room on the premises. There are plenty of extra pillows and blankets for the murphy bed too! You can sleep 4 very easily in our condo!

If you're used to hotel rooms, you'll be amazed at the convenience and spaciousness of Beacher's Lodge 307. Between the balcony, the living area, and the bedroom, there are distinct separate areas, so it's easy to find quiet space or divide the group when everyone wants to do something different.

But the best part of this condo is its location. You're right on the shores of Crescent Beach, with your own personal walkway (and outdoor shower) down to the sands. There are a picnic and barbeque area on the grounds as well, and the swimming pool heated in the winter is fabulous. So much to do without even leaving Beacher's Lodge! Note, laundry facility is down the hall and not int he unit.

Make your reservation for Beacher's Lodge 307 now. At these prices, it will book up quickly, and we want you to experience oceanfront living at it's easiest!

Small condo with leaks/maintenance issues. Very "dated."
My wife and I were very disappointed with our stay at Beachers Lodge 307. We were there to celebrate our anniversary. During our stay we experienced multiple leaks coming from the ceiling due to the rain. We could understand that this could happen sometimes when there is rain, but what was strange was that we were on the third floor of a four-floor building and we’re still experiencing leaks? We called in our initial maintenance request Thursday morning to let them know that there was a leak. We then called back on Friday to let them know that there were now multiple leaks coming from the sliding glass door and in the ceiling over the Murphy bed - right by the electrical. We never received a follow up call to check on our status and to our knowledge no one ever came out regarding our maintenance request. We spent most of our time in the condo emptying pots and glasses that were filling up with water. We took pictures and sent them in an email after our stay, but received no response. My wife and I use VRBO for all our vacations and have never had to post a negative review before. We were very disappointed and will not be returning to this condo again.
Great spot for my husband and I only!
This is a great location. It fit us perfectly but could not imagine having 2 more adults in the condo. Very quiet area and very friendly locals. The bed was very comfy and the beach access and pool are spot on! Just what we needed! We will be back!
The rental company in the other hand is very hard to work with and not very friendly. The owners may want to think about who managers their property. They are not nice or accommodating. The owner is welcome to call me with all of the details.
worst unit stay at Beachers Lodge we have ever had!
Let me narrow down what you are really getting with this unit. I myself am a property manager so in detail. First we couldn't sleep on our bed bc the cheap plastic coathing to the mattress was ripped apart and wadded up under sheet. Housekeeping should have reported that .. if they changed the sheets. Do not try to turn lights in main room on and off by switch you have to unscrew the light bulbs and screw them back in to have light and yes this was after maintenance came and "fixed it by adding new bulbs" but it's the switches that's faulty he also worked on the door knob that kept locking me in the very cheap in accommodating bathroom with no drawers for items also a biggy was NO ADEQUATE AIR AND NO WIFI!*"READ YOUR CONTTRACT.. you are not supposed to have ac below 72 degrees or you pay if it freezes up.. yes it's Fla and humid Housekeeping left the air on 75 so when we arrived exhausted at 10pm it was roasting and had no bed to rest well on. We couldn't use the Murphy bed it was to hot .. and also the couch was holding it up and to move the couch somewhere and let the bed out there is absolutely no room. So maintenance when they came brought us a fan to circulate the air in main unit bc the very entertainment center u see the tv sitting on.. blocks 99.9 percent of air flow and it's empty. Well the fan was broke so he took it back he noted we still did not have WiFi there is no modem for this unit three days calling vacation rental pros and getting swapped around We were finally able to connect in the bedroom only to a community WiFi two rooms below us well we had burnt up 30$ in data and lost business and it was like pulling teeth to get a 50$ compensation for all of this which I'm still waiting on plus a 2 hour extra check out time. Also the location of this unit is aweful it is in front of the ice machine for the whole complex.. elevator and Storage and maintenance rooms so get ready to be awake early and all hours. The owners were notified and photos sent but they never sent any regards or help just put it on their property managers which is vacation rental pros. They can do only so much without the owner. There are violations electrical rigging .. shorts.. wall and water damage things inspection would definitely not approve. This unit should be advertised for half price! Not child friendly so I'm glad it was just us. Our first alone vacation but we made the best of beautiful St. Augustine..also all photos are cosmetic work to kitchen hype.
Great location & price. Very clean, perfect for 2 people.
Awesome weekend at the beach. Great location, right on the beach with private boardwalk access. It is an older unit, but very clean and well kept. It would be cramped if you had more than 2 people, but for us and our 2 dogs, it was perfect.
Great view but little else
The balcony view was tremendous, and the beach and pool access very good, too.
But the condo was in poor shape. There was a mold smell in the kitchen that we believed came from the ceiling/roof. The carpet was in poor shape, the couches uncomfortable, and the cable TV worked intermittently at best. There weren't enough dishes and cups, either.
We have not been to the unit in several months but are going this weekend. If there is a mold or musty smell, we will track it down and correct it. The beach is a humid place and if the dehumidifier is not emptied on a regular basis mold may occur. We always take down replacement dishes when we visit to replace any that are chipped or missing. We have stocked the unit with 6 place settings of Fiesta ware, many glasses, waffle maker, mixer, coffee pot, microwave, blender and George Forman grill along with the usual kitchen appliances. We felt six place settings was adequate for a unit that sleeps four but will be bringing more with us. I guess you cannot have too many. There is only one couch that is a part of the murphy bed. The couch does not have to be moved when the murphy bed is in use. The back cushions are removed and the bed lowers over the body of the couch. Some guests have thought that the couch had to be moved aside. This creates a cramped living space. We will be posting an instruction sign in hopes this will eliminate any further confusion. As far as the comfort of the couch goes I guess it is a matter of taste. My wife and kids think it is very comfortable. I myself have sat on worse couches and some better couches. The one thing that was completely untrue in this review was the comments about the carpet. Look at the pictures and read the property details. You will find that there is not one square inch of carpet in this property. The entire unit has ceramic tile throughout.
