Villa in Kas, Turkey - Amazing Villa, Beautiful Views, Direct Access To The Sea
Charles Leonard Irvine
About Charles Leonard Irvine
I have put a lot of love and attention into the renovation and design of this property - I hope you love it as much as I do. I live in London, UK and this is my favourite holiday destination!
Charles Leonard Irvine purchased this Villa in 2009
Why Charles Leonard Irvine chose Kaş
I love the area - it is so unspoilt. The property is on a large plot. The combination of direct access to the sea, landscaped gardens, sea and mountain views and a light and modern house made it a must buy. It is simply peaceful and beautiful. There are opportunities to go out and find local restaurants, scuba dive, sail, walk, kayaking or just be at home and do absolutely nothing for days on end.
What makes this Villa unique
Peace, relaxation, fun and great place to hang out with friends. The space of the property makes it work really well for the full complement of guests. So there is space for a whole group gathering and space for everyone to have a personal piece of paradise - either on the sea platform, on one of the beds in the garden, under the terrace, on the main deck or on the balcony right at the top.

Fabulous House in Great location
The House is wonderful, the views fantastic, and the service we received from Guray was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend. Only minor issues were Kayaks has been stolen when we were there so we couldn't use these, and the daily cleaners not cleaning the bathrooms.
This is the second year running that we have stayed at White Rock . The ability to unwind in very comfortable surrounding
with most nights the furthest distance we traveled was to have cocktails at the nearby Hotel. We can highly recommend the boat trip organised by the very helpful property manager Guray
Lovely house, well managed and easy.
We had a lovely week at White Rock House and would happily return.
Check in/out was accommodating and flexible around our specific needs, our enquires were dealt with promptly and the house was tidied (rubbish removed etc) everyday. This made it easy to manage and very relaxing. The house is great: lots of options with bedrooms which meant everyone could spread out (we were a family of 8) and everyone had there own bathroom and air conditioning. There are two large dining tables, one inside and one out, which gives convenient options depending on time of day, heat/shade, mosquitoes (at night) etc. all easily managed. Also multiple sitting areas which helps with a big group. The decor is stylish and calm and well done. I would recommend White Rock House.
My Amazing Vacation!!
What a wonderful property. Everything was as listed, great house that had everything we needed, very responsive property managers and Kas itself was a lovely place to rest and recuperate. We would definitely return and stay at this property!! Loved every minutes of our getaway.
Fantastic Stay at wonderful location
This is a fantastic property with direct sea access that is fairly rare in turkey. Wonderful vistas from the deck/pool, sea is beautiful and warm to swim in and see wildlife (swam with sea turtles). Kas is an unspoiled little town that is very charming. Staff were great -- delivering fresh bread daily, very responsive property manager who help make arrangements, and daily cleaning staff.
White Rock House rocks!!!
The property itself is very very nice! We were just impressed. Kaş is a beautiful place which has a a lot of sightseeing spots in the surrounding which we originally planed to visit, BUT, we decided to enjoy the flair and fun of the villa and went nowhere :-)
Also the equippment and the private entrance to the see is a big benefit. We were able to swim with Carretta Carretta's. The last part of the road to the house could be better, too much gravel. Engin and Güray were really nice, very good persons! Engin cleans up the pool and looks after the garden everyday. If you want he brings bread and eggs every morning or looks for other little issues the guests might have. And Güray was able to help you months before the arrival with Q&A's and other needs. Just ask, in turkey a lot of things are possible. The cleaning service was just 3of5 stars, but maybe it just had to do with the "Greater Eid" when we were there. So the floors (kitchen and rooms) got cleaned at the 2nd half of the week. But we had to say also to clean up the bathrooms. However, for the most of the guests that was not a big deal as everybody had its own bathroom. And to be honest, we found the villa very clean, and if you are a little a bit careful you will do it for one week by youself!
All together, the week in Rock House was stunning and amazing. We will do it again, but this time for 2 weeks to have the time for sightseeing.
Thanks Cem for your lovely review. We find ourselves just wanting to stay at the villa too when we go as it is so beautiful and the deck is a great place to chill out with friends/family, look at the stars and put the world to right! Apologies you felt the cleaning was not what you expected. Guray should have mentioned that if the bedroom doors are shut the cleaners assume someone is in there and do not enter to allow privacy. I will make sure that is something we point out to guests in the future. So glad you enjoyed your stay. We would love to welcome you again to White Rock House.
Special interest holidays:
Walking the Lycian Way.
Local beaches - one on the peninsula 1km - no sand. x 2 beaches in Kas - both pebble beaches. Kaputas beach 10km away and Patara beach about 40 mins drive - beautiful long sandy beach.
Dalaman - 2 hour transfer. Antalya 3 hour transfer. Recommend transfers from the airport and then car hire from the villa. Visit our website - getting here section for more details.
3 km to Kas. 20kms to Kalkan. Fethiye - 1.5 hours drive.
Lots of local restaurants, shops, banks and supermarkets in Kas. Scuba diving, snorkelling and fishing, especially in the waters around the Peninsula. Sailing and windsurfing - charter a gullet for a party for the day. Surprisingly cheap and usually includes an on-board BBQ. There are many boat trips starting from the harbour including visiting the Greek island of Meis which is just three miles off the coast of Kas. Canoeing, sea-kayaking, canyoning and paragliding. The Deniz Feneri Lighthouse Hotel is a short walk from the house and has a lovely spa and sauna which has a full list of treatments to choose from. Details of these are available for you in the house. Guided walking and mountain hiking excursions, especially the Lycian Way. The flora is beautiful in early winter and in the spring. Mountain biking, horse riding and jeep expeditions in the Taurus Mountains and around the coastal paths. Hire a car or scooter to explore the nearby towns and countryside. Include a trip up into the mountains to the cool green lake at Gombe.
Take a visit to one of the local artists colonies and do some painting, mosaics or pottery. A trip to the barbers, including a massage, is an interesting experience that should not be missed. Similarly a Turkish Bath (Haman) is a must. Smokers should try a water-pipe (narghile) at one of the cafes near the harbour. Try your hand at playing backgammon or the fiendish Turkish version of dominoes whilst chatting with the locals. The bus services in Turkey are excellent. Frequent, cheap and on time. So it is easy to make a visit to some other resort local towns with Kalkan, Patara, and Demre within easy reach and Fethiye, Oludeniz, Dalyan and Finike a little further. There are also a lot of historical sites nearby and for those who are staying longer, well organised expeditions may be undertaken to Cappadocia and Ephesus. These take about 4 days each.
