Seeing is believing and the views from this 13th floor unit are amazing! This previously private residence has been updated throughout to be a classic vacation home for you and your family.
Crystal Shores is one of the newer (2004) condominium complexes on the quieter West Beach and located within walking distance of several shopping and dining choices. The building offers an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, game room and work out area directly overlooking the beach. Charcoal grills are available for our guests; you must provide your own charcoal/starter.
Our unit has 9ft. ceilings and an uncluttered layout for an open, airy feel. We have updated and upgraded many items recently so the unit feels fresh. Upgrades include curved shower curtain rods (increased shower space), new adjustable shower heads, new goose neck pull-out kitchen faucet and new HE washer and dryer units. As of December 2017 we have installed a new quiet operation dishwasher to our already well appointed kitchen. Our unit is designed to accommodate up to six guests ( 1 Queen bed, 2 twin beds and one Queen sleeper sofa). Plush mattress toppers and upgraded linens on all beds, brand new towels throughout; we also provide dark washcloths for our guests removing makeup. We do have a vacuum and electric dust mop for any cleaning needs. The living area features a 36" flat screen Vizio TV and DVD player, the master bedroom has a 32" flat screen VizioTV and the second bedroom has an 18" flat screen TV/DVD player. Free WIFI is available, password provided prior to arrival. Both bedrooms feature ultra quiet ceiling fans. Our unit has been painted with a relaxing color, and features casual chic furnishings. The well appointed living rooms provide a comfortable setting for you to relax while viewing the horizon. The dining table seats four and three seats are available at the kitchen bar. The kitchen features granite counter tops, stainless appliances and items needed to cook meals or just enjoy snacks and beverages. The in-unit laundry area features a brand new full size washer and dryer with a drying rack, iron and ironing board. Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, laundry detergent and garbage bags are provided.
The balcony directly overlooks the beach and the view of the Gulf is spectacular... you can see both dolphins and rays swim past easily from up high. The balcony is furnished with a selection of chairs and tables. During the hot summer months you remain cool in the shade. During the cooler winter months you will feel the warmth of the sun relaxing in those same chairs providing you with great view of the sunset on the beach. And don't forget about star-gazing from this great balcony after dark!
We do offer a rental chair package for our guests; we have four new beach chairs for $35 a week. If needed, we can provide two additional "used" chairs free of charge.
Rental chaise lounges/umbrella's are available March to November from a 3rd party for about $140/week. As of 1/1/2016 Gulf Shores has stated they will commence to enforce a clean beach policy so all tents/chairs, etc. must be removed 1 hr after sundown. Beach chair concessions that have a business license will have have 1-2 more years before they too will be required to clear the beach each night. This is being done so the city can groom the beach and in part to protect sea turtle nesting.
When you arrive at our unit, you can expect to find it very clean, completely stocked (soap/paper products/cleaners), and in good condition, as that is what we want for ourselves!!
There are no pets allowed at Crystal Shores except for owners. This is a non-smoking unit as well including the balcony. There is community use smoking balcony available on the second level.

ALL RENTALS THAT ARE WEEKLY WILL RUN SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.
RATES - Please note that if there is no daily rate posted, there is no daily rental offered. Four week 'monthly' rentals are available from November through February and vary by month and length of stay. 'Monthly' Rentals begin the first Saturday of the month for 4 weeks. Please inquire as to rates, conditions, and amenities included for November and December.
DEPOSIT - The Deposit would be in addition to the Rental Rate and a $300 deposit is required to hold a date for a weekly rental; a $600 deposit is required for a monthly rental. Check in time is 3:00 PM and check out time is 9:00 AM. There are shower/changing facilities on the second floor should you choose to arrive earlier and/or stay later on that Saturday.
The condo association does not allow RV's or trailers on the property nor do they allow occupancy greater than 6 people (adults/minors/toddlers/infants) overnight per unit. A maximum of 2 parking passes are available for $20 each.
CALENDAR - Please consult the calendar for available dates as it is ALWAYS current. No dates are held w/o paid deposit via PayPal. $300 Deposit for a weekly rental and $600 for a rental longer than 2 weeks. Please note that we use PayPal for all Deposits. The use of PayPal allows you to insure your dates are immediately held upon your approval of the invoice and contract terms. You do not have to have a PayPal account as PayPal supports AMEX/Discover/MasterCard/Visa. Once the rental amount is paid in full via check (60 days prior to your arrival) you will be sent an email prior to your arrival with an access code to the lock. There is a key box back-up available should that be needed for any reason. The parking pass(es) will be inside on the counter so nothing to forget and nothing to pick-up or return.
For those who may wish to pay for the rental amount via a credit card we can accommodate AMEX/Discover/MasterCard/Visa via PayPal but that will come with a 3% surcharge as that is what they charge us for doing this. Most deposits are processed in full within 24-48 hours of departure.
Vacations should be simple and relaxing so we've tried to make that true from the moment you view this listing to the moment you get an email notification your deposit has already been processed once you've left Gulf Shores.
