About Susan Rember
A life long painter and printmaker, I have also been living in this historic home since 201. I used my artistic talents to remodel, decorate and furnish this large home and anxious to share it with you. My office and gallery are next door.
Susan Rember purchased this House in 2011
Why Susan Rember chose Five Points
This charming house, built in the 1887 is where my mother grew up. It was used as a boarding house, and reflects the remodeling of the late 1940’s and 1950’s. Now in an up-and-coming neighborhood, it has survived Denver’ s several high and low periods the past 50 years. In 2011 the house was completely upgraded. I love sharing this amazing house with others. Completely newly furnished.
What makes this House unique
The Glenarm House, a large home has been charmingly and historically upgraded. Newly furnished with a sprinckling of antiques, it can accommodate up to 10 people. Children are especially welcome and have their own bedroom. There is also a basinet available. The kitchen has new appliances and there is a washer/dryer. Two tables seat up to 12, the large living room is great for socializing, wedding parties or giving lectures. Extra chairs available. Walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and the many things Denver has to offer. Large patio for outdoor parties and receptions..

Convenient to convention center and downtown.Great forOur group
Great event space for our Lead Her Up event
We loved the house and it was spotless and exactly what we ordered. Everything was well stocked and there was plenty of room for us all. The air conditioning was tough to regulate - as soon as 9 of us were there moving around it was very warm in the house - especially the kitchen and living room. The outside patio has potential and could use some attention. The neighborhood was a typical old neighborhood and the grounds around the home was in need of some attention. Hope these comments help create an even better property. Thanks for everything. Chris
Chris, I would have appreciated more notice on the "service dog" that destroyed out sheets which you knew about, because you stripped the sheets and washed some even though I asked you not to as we have a cleaning lady who's job it is.. This is our home, several rules were broken. You asked to stay a little longer but didn't leave until after 3:30 locking all of the dead bolts behind you, it was hard to get in, we have code boxes that are used, not keys. I had to charge for the replacement cost and glad you found something to complain about after the fact.
Great pad for a group in a convenient location
Such a fun old house with lots of character and tons of space to hang with a small to mid-sized group. 1 bedroom and bathroom are on the first floor - which made it easily accessible for anyone with issues walking. 1 block from downtown, you get the convenience of being near everything but the quiet and coziness of having a single-family home. I would definitely rent it again.
visit to CO
This is a lovely home & very spacious & very clean. There were 6 of us & plenty of room to comfortably visit. The kitchen with the fireplace was our favorite place. It is located in an area with close proximity to many of the interesting sites in Denver.
Wonderful guests! thanks for booking my house.
Excellent large home near downtown, quiet
The house exceeded expectations. It was roomy for six people, has several living areas, a large kitchen and a private patio area with trees.

This is a lovely home and is just a short walk from the 16th street mall, the convention center, and, going the other direction, Uptown Square.
