House in Jacobstowe, Okehampton, Mid Devon, England - Quiet Village Location, Ideal Central Position, 10 Minutes From Dartmoor
About Trisha Quinn
We came to Devon on holiday and we loved the area so much that we moved down here in 2006! Old Style Cottage is next door to our cottage, which is such an advantage as we can look after it personally and be on hand to help our guests get the most out of their holiday.
Trisha Quinn purchased this Cottage in 2006
Why Trisha Quinn chose Okehampton
Jacobstowe is a beautiful, unspoilt area in the middle of Devon and we, and our guests, are constantly amazed at how quiet the roads are and how easy it is to get around. We are just 10 minutes from the wilds of Dartmoor, and 35 minutes from the gorgeous beaches on the coast. We get the best of both worlds!!
What makes this Cottage unique
Our guests really enjoy staying in a 400-year-old thatched cottage while not compromising on modern conveniences and comforts. They comment on the thoughtfulness that we have put into the design of the cottage and appreciate us providing all the little everyday items such as dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, cling film and so on, and that we send them a list in advance so they know what they don't need to bring!!

Great cottage on the North edge of Dartmoor
Lovely thatched cottage in a small hamlet on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. 5 mins drive from Okehampton. Spotlessly clean and great welcome from Trish and Stephen who are next door if you need anything but don't intrude. Really couldn't fault - it was everything we wanted for our week break. Thanks again for everything.
Loved our stay in Old Style cottage. It was well looked after, extremely clean and contained everything you would need. Trisha showed us around on arrival, which we thought was a lovely welcome.
