Our second stay at Ty Chouette and it was just as wonderful as last time. It is a perfect haven to relax and also to explore the beautiful countryside and coastline. The central location allows easy access to all of the Brittany coastline and towns. The Gite itself is very comfortable (for both humans and furry friends!!) and well equipped, and the garden is large and fully enclosed, making it ideal for dogs. The owners are friendly and accommodating, whilst still allowing your privacy. We would heartily recommend Ty Chouette and hope to return.
We take every effort to ensure our guests have a relaxing and enjoyable stay at Ty Chouette whilst respecting their privacy and we are so pleased to be rewarded with a positive 5-star review once again.
Ty Chouette, a little gem of a gite.
We had a lovely two week stay at Ty Chouette. The gite was very comfortable and well equipped and the garden was perfect for relaxing in the sun. Our dog loved it too as well as walks round the adjoining field and along the nearby river. Kim and Deb were perfect hosts and were extremely hospitable. Their suggestions on places to visit including bars and restaurants were really helpful and well chosen. It was a perfect holiday and we will hopefully make another visit in the not too distant future.
It was very satisfying to receive yet another 5-star review and that our guests thoroughly enjoyed their two week stay. It was a pleasure to meet Mark and Elspeth and they took full advantage of visiting the sights in this lovely area of Brittany or sometimes just content to relax in the sun in the gîte garden. We had the pleasure of looking after their lovely dog Tunnoch on the occasions when it was a little to hot for our furry friends in the car and we are quite happy to extend this "dog sitting" service to any guests with dogs.
The Gite was perfect as were the hosts.
Very friendly and helpful with places to visit and help with the vet.
Would love to visit again but already booked for next year.
Alfie our mad Springer loved the garden and cuddles every day. Very dog friendly the garden was just perfect for him. Loved the peace and quiet it was a Gite from heaven.Hope to be back 2019
Pleased to have such lovely guests for two weeks stay and we are always available to give information about local sites and places to visit. The Springer Spaniel "Alfie" loved his enclosed garden and we were more than happy to assist with any visits to the vets to make your stay worry-free.
A beautiful, well maintained gite with a lovely garden
This compact, comfortable gite is a fantastic place to escape to. Kim and Deb met us when we arrived, as if we were already friends, and were the perfect owners. They made the vet's appointment to get our pet passport stamped, kept us stocked with fresh veg from the garden and invited us in for 'aperos' - all without intruding. The gite itself is big enough for 2 or 3 people and a dog and is tastefully decorated and furnished, with lots of crockery and cutlery (sometimes in rentals for 2 there really is only 2 of everything!). The garden is large and very well enclosed for a dog to roam freely without worry and has plenty of seating and tables. It made for a perfect holiday location and we couldn't think of one thing it was lacking. Hope to be back.
We are so pleased to receive another 5 star review and appreciate so much the comments made. It is our aim to ensure our guests and any four-legged friends are well looked after and spend the perfect holiday at gîte Ty Chouette.
We had a very enjoyable stay - the gite is well maintained, well equipped and tastefully decorated. The fenced garden is particularly handy if you have a young child or dog. The location is quite remote/quiet but within reach of various attractions and activities. Kim and Deb were very attentive, approachable and informative hosts, even spontaneously offering to "dog sit" for us one day. We would happily return as and when we visit the same area again.
We are pleased our guests enjoyed their stay and gave us another 5 star rating. The gîte is in the lovely Breton countryside in a small hamlet but within reach of various attractions and activities. It is only 1 1/2 miles from the bustling town of Le Faouët with a selection of bars, restaurants and other local amenities.
We are a dog friendly gîte and well experienced in handling our canine friends. We are quite happy to look after guests' dogs if they want a day or evening out or the weather is simply too hot for dogs to travel. We will also arrange appointments at our local vets to complete pet passports for the return journey and can assist with any language difficulties.
Wonderful stay in a lovely well appointed Gite
We had a lovely week in a fantastic Gite that had everything we needed. We hadn't been to this part of France before but it was beautiful with so much to see and do locally.
Kim and Deb couldn't do enough for us and made us feel so welcome - a real home from home. Thanks and will return for another stay soon.
Extremely pleased to receive another 5 star review and content to know our guests have enjoyed their stay at "Ty Chouette". Our well appointed gîte is ideally located for our guests wishing to explore the beautiful countryside and coastline of Brittany.
