Seascape is a detached, fully insulated and double glazed bungalow. It is suitable for both summer and winter holidays, including Christmas. High on the cliff, it is only about 30 metres from the road. Free parking is available just a 3 minute walk away in Freathy Fields. Rebuilt in 1981, it has recently been modernised. It is well-equipped and has some interesting and attractive features making it feel like a real 'home from home'. An enclosed, mainly lawned garden surrounds the property and affords a choice of paved seating areas, making it ideal for relaxing whilst taking in the panoramic sea and coastal views towards the ancient fishing port of Looe in the west, and the Rame Peninsula in the east. Spectacular sunsets are also to be enjoyed. The garden gate opens onto a path down to the beach, which is just 5 minutes walk away. Inside, a stable door opens into hallway. There are 2 bedrooms, a lounge/dining room, a separate kitchen and a shower room with WC.

Amazing little place in Cornwall - Fantastic sea views, faultless communication
We booked Seascape for 4 nights (in October) to have a few days away after our wedding. Although we knew from the pictures that we would love staying at Seascape, we did not realise how breathtaking the views are from the garden and the leaving room's sofa. The uninterrupted views of the sun rise and sun set only are worth the 5 hour drive to Cornwall. The accommodation itself is also very lovely. Everything you need for your holiday is there. The communication with the owner is second to none. It shows that the owner cares about her guests having a good stay.
My husband and I will definitely go back.
Thank you! So pleased you enjoyed it as much as you did. People are always surprised just how amazing the view is, even after seeing photos. There's nothing quite like actually being there. Photos don't do it justice.
Yes, it really does matter to us that our guests have a good time.
Hope you'll be back again soon!
Comfy Cabin with everything you need at your fingertips. The garden and the view make this property and we had a fantastic week with very hot weather. The walk to the beach and back is very healthy for you!!! Neighbours are extremely helpful and informative. Nearest supermarket is Sainsburys at Torpoint - a 5 mile drive away. Loved the fact there are no shops nearby. Although there is no parking at the property, the parking space available is only a short walk across the road to the recreation field. This is our first holiday in 17 years where we had no rain!! Jill (the owner) is very helpful and available if needed. Our 2 dogs loved it especially the long beach walks. Hoping to make a return visit.
Thank you so much for the lovely review. Just wanted to say that there are shops at Millbrook, which is under 3 miles away, including a Post Office and quite a large Pharmacy. In addition to a Coop supermarket, there's a shop a bit like Waitrose that sells some interesting and more unusual food items. there's a very good fish and chip shop there too called Posh Nosh.
Hope you'll be back!
The cottage was nice and clean, had everything you needed for your stay, only need your clothes and food.If was worth it just for the spectacular views, over looking the sandy beach and the sea of Whitsand Bay, a quiet unknown part of Cornwall. Beach was accessible by three steep paths each side of the cottage, and only once a day determined by tide times while we stayed a week. The weather was fantastic for the week, so good we ate outside admiring the views for breakfast and our evening meals every day, we also sat outside relaxing, chilling drinking wine into the sunset.Parking wasn’t to bad across the road in a field surrounded by holiday homes, found everybody was so friendly especially the next door neighbors, who live in the property most of the year, very helpful with local knowledge. The Cream Tea was a lovely touch which we enjoyed, homemade scones was especially good.Great for our dog as the outside area was totally enclosed and safe, he really enjoyed the holiday, as much as us, with long walks along the sandy beach and paddling in the rock pools. Shops was within a 5 mile drive with also places to eat what are dog friendly. Fully recommend it as a place to stay and we shall be returning again in the future.
Beautifully clean and well-maintained chalet in an exceptional cliff top location. Can't fault it. Plenty of places to go and see if you chose, but we just stayed put. Sat in the sun loungers and gazed out over the sea. Absolutely perfect. If you did work up the energy the glorious sandy beach is just at the foot of the cliff path, and there are times of the day when you can go down there and have the place to yourself. Breath-taking.
Small but perfectly formed.
The location of this property is stunning. The property itself is compact but it is homely and has everything you would need. The garden is nice and secure for the dog (s). It is very steep down to the beach - particularly difficult getting back up!! So a level of fitness is required, although I believe there is easier access further along the bay. We loved just sitting of an evening enjoying the view.
Quite simply a wonderful stay - amazing views, fun (but steep) dog walks, house very tidy with everything there to make you feel like being at home.
Thanks - so pleased you enjoyed your stay. The view always seems to surprise people, even though they have seen the photos. There's no substitute for actually being there. We're also really pleased to hear that people think of it as a home from home. Hope you'll be back!

The bungalow is located on the cliff at Freathy, which forms part of Whitsand Bay. At low water, the sandy beach is revealed and stretches for several miles. The beach is just a 5 minute walk down the cliff path. Many water sports can be enjoyed. The beach is ideal for family games or for running. Sandy pools form around the rocks, making it an exciting place for children to paddle and explore. At high tide, the sea comes right in and the beach is completely submerged and washed clean.
