At the end of Via Fillungo, passing through an ancient arched door, ther's via dei Borghi. Now it's name is changed, it name's Via Rosi, but I prefer to ask it with it's old name: VIA DEI BORGHI. Ai Borghi Holiday House is there. 20 meters far and ther's Via Fillungo, 30 meters far and there are the old walls; looking out the window, the beautiful front of the church of San Leonardo; two steps to go into the heart of the town, two steps to go walking on the walls, two steps to go out to the city.

Stay in Lucca
We enjoyed the stay. The apartment was very conveniently located. The crockery, glasses and cutlery left someting to be desired.
In England people sometimes say that the three most important things about a property are location, location and location. Well you can't beat the location of this place. From the front door it's two minutes into the heart of this beautiful medieval city, one minute to the famous city walls and yet also quiet.
We rented the property for three weeks and it served us well as a base. Rooms were all spacious .....very spacious by Italian property rental standards ....and all the basics, lighting and air con etc were fine. Loads of hot water, shower was big and easy to use. The admin and logistics were all really good and we saw the owner , a delightful lady, twice. Taxi from Pisa airport was fifty Euro (ouch!), we got the public bus on our return journey for three euro. For a three week self catering stay we would have benefitted from a few more things in the kitchen ...there are only two rings and a microwave. No oven, no electric kettle, no washing machine (although laundrette is only four doors away!). If you are planning on staying for only a week or so, especially if you are expecting to eat out a lot, I'm sure these small matters would not prove a problem. Loads of great places to eat by the way ....our personal favourites were the pizzeria round the corner by the wall (amazingly good value) and Cantina Bernadini in the centre. Overall I'd very warmly commend this property to potential visitors especially those staying for a few days.
a very good stay in Lucca
We were there for 10 days. It was very good, near the center of the town, a good place to stay for us as familiy.
Thank you for this, also for the very good contact to Silvia all time.
Beautiful family, respect of rules and easy communication. I sincerely recommend them as guests
Viareggio beach is 30 minutes drive.
Pisa Airport is 20 minutes drive, car hire is not essential, you can use Taxi from airport to the house and, then, walk in the city or rent a bike. If you want to visit the county there are a lot of public busses or trains. Railway station is ten minutes walk. Car hire is convenient because you are free to go everywhere, but you have to pay for parking or park far away.
Near the house there are many shops, grocers, butchers, pharmacy, bank, laundry. The Esselunga supermarket is a 5 minute walk.
