Beautiful house idealic position
Beautiful house and idealic position on the front would highly recommend
Fabulous location overlooking the beautiful river dart. Parked the car and didn't need use it again. House within minutes walk of shops delis restaurants and pubs. We are very much looking forward to returning and doing some of the coastal walks and river trips which are right on the doorstep. The owner was Excellant to deal with and most helpful
We love Dartmouth - especially the harbour views. This property is perfectly located for us as a family. Kids, adults and grandparents all enjoyed their stay. Easy walking access to town for grandparents and crap fishing across the road for the kids. Plenty of space to spread out - warm and efficient central heating and good bathrooms. Could do with a few hooks to hang coats on the ground floor but other than that excellent.
We had a lovely time in Dartmouth despite the very damp and blustery weather. The cottage is warm and cozy and there's plenty of space for eight adults in the lounge and two eating areas, although it's a bit of a squeeze for eight around either of the tables. The views from the lounge/dining room and third floor bedrooms are incredible and ever-changing; and the cottage is perfectly positioned to easily walk to most of the best bits of Dartmouth. The second floor bedrooms are very small and have no hanging space or much room to move but would be ideal for children (but remember to pack a stairgate or two). Our only other tiny negative comment is that the kitchen is not terribly well equipped for cooking for eight (although the cooker itself was great) - but if you plan to eat out for most meals then it would be no problem at all.
Have rented several houses for Dartmouth holidays & this is the best position so far. Within minutes walk of all the shops restaurants pubs & ferries to whisk you up & down the beautiful River Dart
Could spend all day just looking out of the window
