Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I brought our son and my in-laws here in early June. We instantly fell in love. The owner was very well organized with providing us with the cottage information in advance. The place was neat and clean with a very nice open floor concept. Perfect for 6 people. The cottage is on the bayside so the water is very calm which was perfect for our son to run around and play, especially when the tide is low. The beach was quiet and relaxing, and the water so clear and blue! I was pleasantly surprised to find out the convenience of our location. We were about an hour from Providence which was a very neat town to visit, and 30 minutes from the drive in movie theatre. Boston is a little over an hour away so we visited the aquarium one afternoon. The ferry was also near which allowed us to do a day trip in Martha's Vineyard. We had one rain day, and for anyone who has a toddler you know that you must keep them occupied. Fortunately, we were about 15 minutes from the Children's Museum in Mashpee, and found 2 playgrounds along the way. This place is our new sanctuary. Highly recommend!

Our Family loves this place!

  • 5 of 5

We have rented this cottage for the past 6 years and every year it gets better. The owners are constantly upgrading and moderninzing the cottege but it still keeps the beachy feel. There is plenty of space and it comfortably sleeps 6+. The cottege is steps from the beach so access is never an issue, and I would definately recomend it to anyone with kids. There is a grocery store in town and a corner store off 6a so you're only a few mins from necesseties. The kitchen is fully furnished so we cook alot at the cottage but there are some restaurants/ pubs in town. Its about an hour to get to Provincetown which is always a great place to visit for the day, definately recomend if you've never been there. Try to stop by Chatham too if you have a chance. Bottom line, the place is great and your family will love it.

cottage experience

  • 5 of 5

I would highly recommend this cottage. It is very well maintained with all the ammenities of home. My family and I have been coming here for the past two years and look forward to next year already. The location is perfect ,especially for families.

The Bee HIve and Bobby Burns in town are favorites as well as the Brazialian Grill in Hyannis.

Great stay as always!

  • 5 of 5

We've been staying here for the past several years and it is simply the perfect getaway. This unit is incredibly well appointed, (Flatscreens in every bedroom and living room), you just cannot get any loser to the beach, and it is spotless. The owners are extremely excessible and easy to work with. Can't wait to go next year.

Relaxing, quiet, beachfront cottage!

  • 5 of 5

This is a beachfront cottage that has been newly renovated, is immaculately clean, and is cheerfully decorated. We priced other larger beachfront houses and the prices seem to go up exponentially with size and some are old, musty, and depressing. This cottage is small, but for 3 bedrooms, beachfront, it is a GREAT deal and was perfect for us! It has a pleasant ambiance and is directly facing the dunes in a small group of six others. The 3 bedrooms are small (who cares since you are only sleeping in them) but the living, dining, and kitchen area are a good size. It has a very private feel as the large picture windows from the living/dining area face the dunes and the ocean beyond. Did not see a sole while enjoying my morning coffee on the patio. Neighbors were quite and respectful of other's privacy. The beach is somewhat rocky in areas, but when the tide is out there is a beautiful smooth sandbar to swim from and lots of tidal pools for exploring. The water was crystal clear and, as it is the bay side, was very calm. - This is something to consider if you are coming with children. I walked the entire North Shore Blvd beach and this was one of the nicest spots. We were here during a very warm week. We were worried about the lack of A/C but were surprised at how the temperature goes down at night with the ocean breeze and the five ceiling fans throughout the house really helped. We actually had to turn them off during the night as it got too cool. The house is located on a quiet dead end oceanfront street. The traffic is minimal but you are very close to restaurants etc. The owners were helpful with any questions we had. I recommend this house to anyone who needs 3 bedrooms and wants to be beachfront in a fresh and cheerful house without spending a fortune.
