Bridgets Cottage is a recently renovated but traditional stone cottage on a small farm at the end of a single track road 6km from the friendly village of Sneem, with beautiful views all around.
The cottage was derelict for many years and used as a garden shed by the previous owners.
Bridgets Cottage has been restored to a lovely cosy little retreat.
The owners home is nearby if you need any help.
The property is set on a 7 acre smallholding 6km from Sneem at the end of a narrow unlit rural road. The cottage has a walled sitting area to the side and back, with washing line, and a grassed area with a fantastic view across the valley and towards the mountain ridge behind, a perfect place to sit and relax. Outdoor chairs and tables and an open barbecue are provided.
A perfect place for artists, photographers and writers, and for anyone needing to lose themselves for a while. There is free wi-fi in the cottage if you feel the need to contact the outside world. There is also free wi-fi in most of the pubs and cafes in Sneem.
From 1st October to 30th April electricity is charged for by meter reading at the end of your stay
A stairgate and highchair are available, please ask when booking.
