Best Vrbo ever
Great communication and check in with owners. Walking distance to everything. Great amenities with coffee and cooking supplies provided. Can’t say enough great things about this apartment
As my husband said when we walked into the property, ‘I want to live here forever.’ This flat feels like a true home. Martin and Weng were incredibly helpful and everything about check-in went smoothly. The flat is immaculate and looks even better than in the pictures. The neighborhood was absolutely gorgeous (with the added bonus of filming happening nearby and there were a bunch of extras strolling around the neighborhood in period costume. It was magical). The shower was heavenly, the kitchen was well appointed and the washer/dryer was so wonderful to have. Even the iron is first rate. Some provisions were thoughtfully provided. We cannot imagine a better place in Edinburgh. We hope to come back and stay again and again.
Beautiful apartment in a lovely quiet part of Edinburgh. Hosts are wonderful- clear communication, lovely welcome gifts, super clean, comfortable bed with lovely linens, and beautiful furnishings. We loved our stay and highly recommend this r
Can’t imagine staying anywhere else!
Absolutely lovely, well-located apartment. It is exactly as it is pictured. Martin & Weng have thought of every detail. We may have to come back to Edinburgh just to stay here!
A Jewel of a Property
We have rented many VRBOs around the world and this is one of the BEST we have stayed in. It was in a beautiful location in a peaceful quiet neighborhood. Close enough to walk to all of the major sights and attractions. From the moment we stepped in.......we felt at home. Tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. We were very hungry and pleased to find bread , butter , jelly etc. to tide us over. Perfect size for two travelers! Even has a small patio to enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine. Even though it’s on the ground floor it was very quiet. We enjoyed our time there so much that we are considering an extended stay in the future!
Perfect Place in Edinburgh!
This place could NOT have been better.
The location was great - bus stops are just a short walk in almost every direction. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, but you are a short walk from restaurants, pubs and Edinburgh sites.
Martin and Weng were the best hosts ever. They contacted us beforehand with instructions for our arrival and when we got there we could not believe that they provided us with bread, butter, milk & coffee as well as a bottle of wine, and an anniversary card and two beautiful red velvet cupcakes, decorated with hearts in a box marked "Happy Anniversary!"
They also provided all paper products and the kitchen is extremely well appointed - you could easily prepare a gourmet meal if you wanted to.
They provided detailed instructions for everything in the apartment - all of the appliances, the thermostat, the shower, the tv... it was awesome. They also had information about the surrounding area for groceries, restaurants etc...
The atmosphere is very comfortable. All of the rooms have beautiful furniture and wonderful lighting - the overall effect is a sophisticated, cozy place to wake up in and come home to.
We really cannot say enough about how fabulous this place is - we enjoyed every minute of our time in Edinburgh, it is a great place to visit, but Martin and Weng's beautiful flat made the visit really special.
The East Lothian coast with its myriad beach walks, links courses and pretty coastal towns can be reached quickly by car or train, as can the East Neuk of Fife with a string of charming fishing villages.
Edinburgh Airport has multiple flights per day to London and European destinations. The airport is easily reached by a cheap and regular bus or tram which stops minutes from the flat. The flat is also handy for both of Edinburgh's mainline rail stations which serve the entire UK comprehensively.
Car use isn't required in Edinburgh since everywhere is walkable, but drivers will find restricted paid parking right outside the front door, or longer-term parking in one of the city's main car parks.
Those wishing to explore further afield will find Glasgow, Stirling, Perth and St Andrews within easy reach by car or public transport, with the majestic highlands and the rural Scottish Borders quite feasible for day trips.
