Please take a moment before submitting a booking request and familiarize yourself with our cancellation policy, house rules (This building requires a background check on all guests over 18. It is a quick form and adds no additional cost to the booking. Each adult guest will need to sign a copy) and description. Also, when submitting your request make sure the number of guests (adults/children) is reflected accurately.
Our check in time after 4pm / check out by 11 am times are accurate, please make your travel plans accordingly. This a residential apartment building and we do not have onsite facilities for bag storage before or after your reservation times. If you will arrive early, or leave late, please consider adding an additional day to your reservation. Thank you.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
Please note: We do not make exceptions to our cancellation/refund policies. Once a reservation has been confirmed any cancellation or reduction of nights will invoke the cancellation policies below, or as listed on your booking site:
We realize that unforeseen circumstances could cause you to cancel your reservation. Therefore, if you feel weather, illness, flight delays, car issues or simply changing your mind may happen for your stay, please purchase additional travel coverage. Only partial refunds will be issued for cancellations more than 30 days before arrival and refunds will not be issued for any reason outside of The Lux Haus’ control within 30 days of arrival as noted below:
Non-payment or non-receipt of house rules/rental agreement/background check consent forms:
At the discretion of The Lux Haus, the reservation may be cancelled if the payment, signed house rules/ background check/rental agreements are not received within 5 days of reservation subject to possible cancellation fees below.
Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival:
Guest will be charged a $75 reservation processing fee, $150 cancellation fee, and $45 dollars per background check processed by The Lux Haus. Any remaining refund checks or credit to a credit card will be issued within 30 days after a cancellation.
Cancellations within 30 days of arrival:
The total rental fee plus all taxes, fees, and applicable insurance premiums will be forfeited.
If travel insurance was purchased, a possible claim for a refund may usually be made through your travel insurance company if you canceled at least 24 hours before arrival. We will provide any needed documentation for your claim.

Great location and wonderful place to stay
The apartment is beautifully done with a super comfortable bed and a lovely view of the river and park paths. The kitchen had everything we needed. Location was great for us -about a ten minute walk to the 6th street area or just a few minutes to the walking paths along the river.
Check in was easy and handy to have the parking spot in the building.
Walked to restaurants, shopping and close to friends.
Beautiful view too, to bad it was too cold to swim. Pool looks luxurious.
Wonderful downtown location--we thoroughly enjoyed the lake/river path, nearby restaurants, Violet Crown Cinema, and more. Would give 5 stars if only there had not been dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, and if there had been a little more in the way of cleaning supplies (sponges, dust cloths, all-purpose cleaner, maybe a broom & dust pan). Needed replacement light bulbs (3) and would have appreciated information regarding the thermostat.
North Shore personnel were very pleasant.
Lovely Stay in Austin
Stayed for 10 days in this new condo, downtown Austin. It was easy to get to from airport by bus and very convenient walking to downtown and to local trails. Inside was clean and quiet except for an occasional dog bark from a neighbor's dog. The condo was well stocked with dishes, towels, and bathroom supplies. The wireless internet and the TV's worked without problems. The laundry was very much appreciated in the condo along with a couple of laundry soaps. We used the pool which was very nice and parking that was easy. I would recommend this rental company and this particular unit. We did have a small snafu on checking in as the name on the pickup envelope was incorrect as well as the length of stay. The staff managing the front desk took care of this without any issues.

Beautiful view and wonderfully furnished in a great location. Surprised by the huge closet space. Would definitely stay again.
