About Wendy Stokes
We have been visiting Sennen Cove since the mid 90's, so when this property came up for sale we jumped at the chance. We bought Whitesands Penthouse in 2008 from close friends, who lived there full time. I think this is why from the moment you walk in the front door it feels like a home. The views from all the windows are amazing - when you wake up the morning sun floods the bedroom and you can lie in bed and watch the waves roll in. During the day you can sit on the sofa and watch life unfold in the cove below, and the fisherman go about their daily business. Finally when the sun sets you can watch in wonder from the balcony or outside on the deck. There is always something to look at and we are delighted to share this with our visitors.

We love being right on the coastal path - it's great for us and our dog. And we love our garden with the soft lawns and fantastic views of the beach, (which we share with the other flats in the building) but NO ONE else ever uses it so it feels like it's all ours!

Lovely stay with beatiful view and short beach access
We are a family of two addults and three teens and had plenty of space. We loved the view over Sennen Cove and the short (but steep) way to the beach. We stayed there for one week with brilliant weather and spent a lot of time on the beach sun bathing, swimming and surfing. Short walk along the cliff to Land's End.
A beautiful and well equipped home from home with stunning views
We have recently returned from a fabulous week in Sennen Cove where we stayed at this super penthouse apartment. The property has well thought out equipment and great family sized rooms. The views from the front room and bedrooms are incredible and the apartment is very tastefully furnished. The owners kindly supplied us with a welcoming cream tea to start our holiday and a coffee machine to keep my husband happy.
There is lots to do nearby with the property situated very close to the coastal path to Lands End and a fifteen minute walk to the beach.
It is a beautiful and peaceful area suitable for all beach and coast lovers. Just ensure you have good shoes for the walk up the coastal path.

Amazing views, beautifully decorated - a luxurious and restful escape!
We had four adults staying, so made full use of both bathrooms, and the dishwasher and washing machine were essential for us. The small back deck catches the early-morning sun, so is beautiful for coffee or breakfast (seats 4). Lots of windows let in the sound of the surf and the fresh sea air, so although we explored widely, it was never a regret to come home to this apartment! All rooms are more spacious than usual, well-designed, with simple decor that compliments the scenery. Very easy to live in. The views are every bit as described, the coast path is seconds from the door, and steps run down past the cottage all the way to beach level - ideal for impromptu walks or fish & chip runs! The numerous charging sockets, wifi, book selection and internet-connected TV all gave great entertainment. A few useful items missing and one of the twin beds needs a new mattress, but we're sure that will be resolved soon.

Fantastic apartment with great views
We have stayed in the apartment many times, in all seasons - bringing various family & friends. The location and views are stunning, great walks, beaches, surf, pubs and restaurants nearby. The apartment is well equipped and very comfortable - the owners look after it and update it regularly. A real home from home - highly recommended!
Have stayed here for several years and is a perfect home-from-home for the whole family. Love the fact that there are sea views from virtually every window; apartment is always clean and beds are super-comfy. Really well-equipped too (hurrah for Nespresso machine!) and body-boards, buckets & spades if you need them. Sennen is a lovely spot but there's something about being perched above it all, looking down, that means you're never bored as there's always something to look at. It is a climb up from the beach, but it does get you fit and the views are definitely worth it.
Three minutes walk to the small harbour beach, and five minutes walk to the main Whitesands beach
Nearest airport is Newquay. Nearest train station is 20 minutes by car in Penzance. Local bus service is good, but would recommend use of a car.
Lands End is 20 minute walk on coastal path, Penzance is 6.5 miles, approx 15-20 mins by car, Minack Open Air Theatre at Porthcurno is 4-5 miles, approx 10-15 mins by car, or a few hours beautiful walking along the coastal path.
