About Dana Williams

Pine Creek is a very special place for us. I was born nearby, was raised in Louisiana and now live in Texas. When I was growing up we traveled back to PA each year to enjoy Pine Creek with family and friends. It is where some of my best memories have been made. Now, I travel there for at least a month out of each year with my own children who love it as much as we do. It is a place where our family comes together and stays connected. It is a place where our kids and their cousins can play outside and enjoy nature. It is our little slice of heaven.

Why Dana Williams chose Jersey Shore

We have several family members with property in Ramsey Village. We visit regularly and have always wanted a property here that we can pass down through the generations. This property offers so much with its large lot size, beautiful fruit trees, 400+feet of creek frontage and close proximity to the rail trail.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Hey Dana! We had a great time! Everything was exactly as you said and your property was amazing. We did pretty good with the fishing. The more we learned the water, the better we did. We were even fortunate enough to see 3 hellbenders. I'm already thinking about when I would be able to go up again!

Great location

The house is in a great location. It is nestled between the creek and the bike trail. We found the house to be clean, cozy and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable

Pine Creek Hideway

I already did this review once and don't want to be continually bothered, especially these middle of the night solicitations.

calming & homey!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second year staying here in late October. The views are gorgeous, calming, and made us decompress! One day we spent staying at the cabin and reading outside on the spacious deck. It is the perfect place to soak up some sun on the private side of the house overlooking the river. We biked on rail trail right from cabin as well as drove North (close to Wellsboro) to ride the other end of the trail and sight see. Any overlook we saw had great views of the canyon as well as the fall colors. We also ate at Waterview Restaurant where the breaded haddock fish was mouth watering! The other place we ate was Happy Acres Restaurant (about 6 miles away) and had the best tasting burgers. Otherwise we brought our food to make at the cabin in a very stocked kitchen. I didn't even need to bring the paper products I brought. The nice aspect of this cabin is the newer great room built onto the house - super cozy large spacious room. We appreciated the heat warming up the house at night extremely quickly making it even more cozy!! Coming from NJ, with a lot of light pollution at night, we loved the star gazing experience at this place.

Fantastic home and property

  • 5 of 5

Dana was fantastic to work with! Communication was smooth and timely with responses to questions. Her home was clean and just as described in her description. We loved sitting in the screened in part of the deck in the morning listening to the wildlife around us. The Pine Creek rail trail was nice to walk with our dog with it being so close to the property. Our dog loved going in the property fronted creek everyday to swim! We enjoyed walking the property and looking at all the apple, chestnut and black walnut trees. We will definitely be returning to this slice of heaven in Waterville, PA! Rhonda and Tim

As good as it gets!

  • 5 of 5

We had as close to a perfect week as you can have at this charming house. Full kitchen, comfortable bed and we could bring our dog. The real plus is the location. With Pine Creek in your back yard and the bike trail in your front yard- the big decision is which will we do today? Most days we did both.

We enjoyed the extras-darts, ping pong & tubes. And we made use of the sunny deck and fire pit. It was great. We will be back.

Located right in front of the Pine Creek Rail Trail. "One of the premier rail-trails in the Northeast, the Pine Creek Trail in Pine Creek Gorge offers travelers a spectacular 61-mile journey through the area commonly referred to as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. With numerous trailheads, comfort stations, campgrounds and small towns along the route, the well-maintained trail is ideal for an afternoon excursion or a longer trek. The trail is crushed limestone but is suitable for most bike tires."
