About Kay Barter
We have owned Nowton Lodge Farm since 2007, and in that time have completely restored it, and have been successfully renting it out as a fantastic and friendly large holiday home since 2012. It is our only holiday home and we manage everything ourselves from the bookings to the laundry and cleaning. Kay & Gary.

Long weekend stay
Amazing place very clean
Family get together
We had a lovely break away here, the location of the property was really good, right next to Nowton park. Beds were comfortable and it was very spacious. The only thing that I would change would be to have more than 1 shower.
Wonderful group or family stay
We stayed here as a group of five families. We all had a wonderful time! The space was perfect and the garden lovely. Kay was always very quick to respond to any questions we had prior to our booking and arrival. We spent time in Nowton Park with all the children (just over the road).
Great for three generations of family
A memorable stay at Nowton Lodge. Room for all 14 of us, trees to climb, beautiful garden for a one year old’s birthday party... and they even laid on a World Cup in the cricket!
Our wider family enjoyed a lovely weekend at this property. The features that were particularly beneficial for our multi-generational group of 11, was the large dining room table that enabled us to all eat together and the downstairs bedroom that was suitable for an elderly relative. Period features in the cottage are stunning and it is set in a beautiful, quiet, garden. Bury St Edmunds is close by, the cottage is in a great location.
Great place for family groups
We had a great time at Nowton Lodge Farm. Very quick and easy communication with the owner. Lovely accommodation, perfect for our birthday celebrations of 13 people.
