Very cosy Cottage
We stayed here in August 2015 - my wife, 2 teenage twin daughters and myself - and were very impressed with the cottage. We weren't in it during the day as we were out doing our own thing but to come back at night to this cottage was delightful, especially when the fire was lit - very nice! Ishy next door was so friendly and it was a pleasure to meet you.
Parking is about 20 feet away from the door over the grass but the car is safe in the yard. The cottage is in the middle of nowhere and is so tranquil and gorgeous. Just a short drive from Edinburgh (about 20 miles) and Galashiels (about 7 miles) and if you want to go further afield go down to North Berwick which is a lovely harbour about 40 miles away. Thank you Ishy for making us welcome to your lovely cottage.

The four of us had a superb week at the Grain Store. The Cottage is in such a peaceful location, and is comfortable and secluded. The thick walls and stove meant we had some very warm cosy evenings. Located not too far from the shops in Innerleithen. Very handy for the bike trails at Glentress and the cycle route along the old railway line to Peebles. The Brewery at Traquair House does some superb beers and is not far away.
A lovely, homely cottage and a big thank you to Ishy for the care and attention you obviously give to the cottage and your guests.
We would love to return sometime in the future.
