About Brenda Walters

We live in Rowlett, TX, a suburb of Dallas, TX, but have always had an affinity for Broken Bow Lake and the surrounding Quachita National Forrest. Chris, the husband to the stunning and wonderful Jamie Fagan, is a native Oklahoman and spent a period of time in his youth living within the Quachita National Forrest about an hour away in Mena, AR. Chris is an avid wakeboarder, extreme sports junkie, entrepreneur, technologist, and self-proclaimed do-it-yourself expert. If you’ve had a moment to view the upstairs and downstairs patios you’ll notice some of his handy work as he built all of the cedar patio furniture. Jamie, wife to the eccentric Chris Fagan, is a native of Austin, Texas and prides herself as being the most motivated hippie you’ve ever met. She spent 10 years traveling the world, living abroad, speaks Spanish, and is the president of family run insurance business. However, her most notable accomplishment to date is being the mother to our wonderful daughter, Phoenix Fagan. Our family loves spending time at The Driftwood and we hope you enjoy your stay just as much as we do.

Our property is managed by the warm and charismatic Brenda Porton with Lakewood Luxury Cabins . Brenda, with the help of her significant other Perry, developed the Lakewood Estates subdivision and manage several of the cabins. Rest assured you'll be well taken care of during your stay as these two locals know the area better than anyone.

Awesome!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I had a great reunion at this home. Not only is it a lovely house with all the conveniences and comforts, the outside area was just as great and comfy. I especially liked the second floor bedroom with the outdoor sitting area and fireplace. If the opportunity presents itself again, we'd come back in a heartbeat. Thanks.

PERFECT! Cabin was as described, beautiful, spacious, all the latest amenities!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful cabin in the woods! Peaceful surroundings! All the latest amenities! We traveled with several other families & throughly enjoyed our weekend get away. We cook & grilled, nice big open kitchens. Plenty of seats for dining in or out under a covered patio! Some in our party went horseback riding. Some hiked, and played horseshoes. We sat around a camp fire 🔥? both nights, enjoyed Smores & our time together. There is a hot tub, followed instructions on how to operate, but never got hot enough. All in all loved It. Look forward to our next trip back!

Relaxing weekend

  • 4 of 5

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful relaxing weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed the outside fireplace, hot tub, and outdoor dining table. The cabin is very modern and nicely furnished. The beds were very comfortable! The only complaint was that the upstairs balcony was covered in pollen, so we were not able to utilize that space. A quick spray down with the water hose and it would have been good to go.

Owner's Response: Thank you, Blake, for your nice review. I'm so sorry that the balcony area was pollen covered. Unfortunately, we can wash it down and within an hour it's covered again this time of year. But, I'll surely check it out and discuss your concern with our cleaning crew. Thanks again for letting me know. We hope you choose our cabin again in the future. Brenda

Fabulous cabin, will definitely come back!

  • 5 of 5

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Driftwood! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and has all of the amenities we needed for a weekend getaway with our family (5 people, including kids ages 10, 8, 6). We had plenty of space to sleep comfortably and the beds were so amazing. We had so many things to do that we didn't really NEED to leave the cabin, although we did go hiking in the state park. We all enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, TV options, balconies and the ringer game. There were more than enough towels, a convenient washer and dryer, delicious coffee and all of the kitchen necessities. We were just so comfortable and felt right at home. We made so many wonderful memories. We've been to Broken Bow before, but this is now our favorite cabin and we hope to make many more trips here in the future, staying at Driftwood.
