Each villa has either 3 double bedrooms or 4 double bedrooms and sleeps 6+ or 8+ accordingly. The Villas are all new with luxury furniture, fixtures and fittings and are very private and not overlooked. Bonaire is becoming one of the most desirable holiday locations in the North of Mallorca. Perfect for family holidays you have the benefit of a quiet and relaxing location but with the convenience of sandy beaches and the attractions of Alcudia Old Town, Port Alcudia and Port Pollensa just a short drive away. There is also a bus service from the Marina at Mal Pas which is a short walk down the hill for those not wishing to rent a car. In short, the best of both worlds. A Welcome Pack including fresh bread, wine, fruit and vegetables is included. We also leave spices and condiments, olive oil etc. from previous guests for you to choose to use if you wish.

About steve walsh
Hi, as a family we invested in a number of properties in the North of Mallorca some years ago and for the past 4 years have had a great experience renting to holiday makers. Myself, my daughter Steff and son Elliot are always around, Marcos the pool genius pops round very couple of days and Mihaela and her cleaning people are always working on the villas. My son and daughter run Sin Embargo, an art gallery, funky bar and kitchen right in the centre of Bonaire - this is where you will collect your keys - call in and say hello even if you don't stay with us.
Why steve walsh chose Cielo de Bonaire
Having travelled round Mallorca from the resorts in the south to Port Pollensa in the North , for me, Bonaire, Mal Pas is the most beautiful , picturesque and peaceful part of the island. It is a very upmarket area with lots of palatial houses and lovely local people - plus holidaymakers of course. In the village you will find some great bars and restaurants, a small supermarket , the marina , a lovely safe and sandy beach and some great walks. Yet a 5 minute drive and you are in old town Alcudia with its cobbled streets, tapas bars, ancient stone walls, bull ring, colourful markets. Port Alcudia, Pollensa and Port Pollensa are all less than 15 minutes away by car. So I think when you stay with us you get the very best of all worlds. A car is ideal for convenience but not ess

At the price we were expecting a relatively basic villa (as Steve said "It's not a finca") but in fact it is spacious and comfortable. Very clean and everything worked. For the first time in five Spanish villa holidays, no ants and no other insects. As you would expect from this, very clean. The location was why we chose it, and it's great. Quiet, high on the Bonaire hillside with great mountain views over the bay and looking the other way, up to the Talaia d'Alcudia. The hills above Bonaire are fantastic for walking and (honest) for running. Four of us went out most days - we never tired of the well-made trails and the awesome views from the tops. [Note - there are two stiles to take you out of Bonaire onto the hillside behind - both are fairly close to the villa - one on Carrer de Camellia (definitely) and the other on Carrer de Heura (I think)] One of my sons even ran up twice in one day - he needed a rest the day after. The beaches at Port Alcudia, Platja de Muro and Can Picafort are all worth a visit, and again we did most days. Can Picafort is a little further but worth the drive for the ice-creams. Down at the Bonaire harbour, we had great dinners at both Sin Embargo and Cocodrilo. I could go on, but in summary: Yes strongly recommended.
Many thanks for the wonderful review - steve
The nearest safe sandy beach is about 3 minutes by car or a 15 minute walk.
It is ideal for children because it is shallow for about 100 metres.
The Chirinquito beach bar is well worth visit.
The wonderful beaches of Port Alcudia and Port Pollensa are just a 10 - 15 minute drive away. The area has many fabulous beaches with boat rides available to Formentor Beach - the beach at Can Picafort is also well worth a visit - reminiscent of the Caribbean
