Lovely property in a great location.
Well equiped cottage, very clear guidance on location, keys and everything in the property.
Perfect Base for Exploring
We couldn't be more pleased - the cottage was packed with charm and large living area rooms. The kitchen was amazing and the owner's were kind enough to leave a Welcome Basket of goodies that we thoroughly enjoyed. Even though there were six of us, there was never a problem with hot water for showers. There were restaurants & a grocery store within easy walking distance. The cool weather kept us from enjoying the outside terrace but it would have been lovely. Thanks to the owners for sharing with us.
Very well equipped and comfortable house.
Great facilities in a good location. Good parking for two family sized cars. Owner quick to respond to messages and pleasant to deal with.
Thanks for the feedback and delighted you like the cottage.
A lovely stay in a great cottage
We live overseas and booked the cottage just before Christmas as a base for friends and family to visit us. The cottage suited our needs perfectly and was very well equipped with everything we needed to entertain and accommodate a crowd that changed daily! The location is fantastic and the rail links to Bath are very handy. One slight problem with the plumbing was dealt with speedily and effectively by the owner as soon as he was informed. The welcome pack was a lovely gesture, as were the Christmas decorations that had been put up. Overall, we had a super week and will definitely be back again.
Fantastic cottage, excellent location, everything you need provided + more, extremely helpful owner.
I rented this amazing property for my wife's 60th birthday, there were 8 adults in total, and the cottage was plenty large enough not to get under each others feet, absolutely everything you require is provided, except the obvious personal things such as shower jells, shampoo, toothpaste ect, it has a beautiful tiered garden area, and we found it exceptionally clean, it is ideally located with a lovely short walk into the town, and a stones throw from walking the tow path along the Avon and Kennett canal, the old tythe barn is well worth the 10 minute walk to see, we all had an absolutely fantastic stay, and would not hesitate to book this property again, and finally a word of praise for the owner David Gilbert for his superb communication and tips on places to eat, and a local lady who made me a fantastic birthday cake for my wife.
very impressed. well appointed. fully equipped. clean. great location. spacious. lots of character. overall really lovely.
