About Lesley Moreland
I moved to France 25 years ago after having lived in London for 20 years. Working as a district nurse for the last 17 years I live with my 19 year old son Theo. The renovation of Moncuquet Grange has kept me busy over for the last 10 years. It is a really special spot, with fantastic views and on the non working days I like to take time just sit and enjoy gazing down the valley, after all it's the reason I moved to the countryside! I will be staying with friends nearby during the summer and so am available if needed, and will be passing by twice each week to clean the pool and water the garden.
Lesley Moreland purchased this Barn in 2001
Why Lesley Moreland chose Cauzac
The Barn has an amazing view over the valley which can be enjoyed from the kitchen, living room as well as the terrace outside. The interior is light and modern, cool in summer with plenty of space and a table tennis corner.
What makes this Barn unique
The southerly aspect and panoramic view over the valley to the hills opposite. There are two bedrooms without stair access therefore providing plenty of accommodation for people with less mobility.

Great Views, Great Place
We recently had a family holiday and what a great place, the views are stunning and the kids really enjoyed the pool.
We had pleasant evenings sat out enjoying the local 'produce' and playing dominoes.
Lots to do in the surrounding area for families from the bustle of Walibi land to messing about in boats on the Lot.
It is tucked away in a secluded corner overlooking the valley but amenities are just a few miles down the road, really giving the best of both worlds
A fantastic holiday in a beautiful place
We had the most fantastic holiday here. The view was to die for and waking up every morning, throwing open the doors and stepping out, with a cup of coffee, was a treat indeed. The house is much nicer than the photos, with lovely walk-in showers and a spacious living room too. The kitchen is the best feature, with the sliding doors out to the seating area and on to the magnificent view. There is also a ping-pong table inside, in a very cool, stone-floored room, which kept everyone amused when it was too hot outside. Upstairs the master bedroom is very nice, with a lovely shower and small roof terrace with that awesome view again. It was so peaceful, hardly a sound, the perfect place to drink wine, watch the sun go down and relax. Lesley, the owner, was very lovely and we enjoyed chatting and getting to know her. We will definitely be back again. Thank you. Thank you!
We booked Moncuquet last summer for a week , the family included our little 4 year old grandchild who just couldn't be persuaded out of the beautiful pool and was permanently wrinkled! Glorious weather, beautiful views and the most unexpectedly wonderful house. Grand designs has nothing on this; stylish, spacious, luminous with every gadget and utensil imaginable in the incredible kitchen. This is not a holiday house this is a luxurious home with every comfort . We were so happy we stayed for an extra week in September and will be returning this year. Thank you Lesley for allowing us to enjoy your fabulous home nestled in the most beautiful region in France,Lot et Garonne.
We booked the Grange from a website we had used before, and liked the pictures and location - but were totally amazed at how wonderful it was in real life. Loads of space, everything you could wish for in a kitchen (for real foodies!) and a beautiful outside space with pool. We WILL be going back!
Thank you for leaving a five star ⭐️ review. Unfortunately I don’t understand what you wrote but I’m sure it was nice.
Hope all is well with you and your family and the weather is nice for the rest of our European summer. We’re due storms tonight.
