Lovely family home less than 5 minutes walk from the beach
Had a lovely week sharing with our daughter, son-in-law and 3 children. The house is lovely - plenty of room. Very clean and tidy. Extremely well equiped kitchen. Lovely back garden. A very short walk to a lovely beach.
Northumberland has a wealth of golden sandy beaches where you can walk for miles without seeing anybody. Beadnell beach is only a five minute walk from Driftwood.
There are numerous castles to visit in Northumberland - Bamburgh, Dunstunburgh, Alnwick, Ford, and Warkworth. Take a trip to Holy Island or take a boat to the Farne Islands which hosts the largest Grey seal colony in the UK as well as breeding seabirds such as puffins, shags and terns. Enjoy a visit to Berwick, Hexham, Craster, Cragside and Hadrians Wall.
Driftwood is within walking distance of a shop, restaurant and pub. Seahouses 3 miles and Bamburgh 7 miles provide a wider variety of cuisine if required.
