Peace and Quiet in Unspoilt Rural Yorkshire
Lovely cottage in unspoilt rural Yorkshire. Lots of walks from the door. Lovely pub, The Black Swan, just a short stroll away. Very close to Masham. Lovely walk along the Ripon canal too.
Perfect Yorkshire cottage
We found this a comfortable cottage with everything you could ask for. Well equipped and a super welcome pack.Surrounded by picturesque countryside with a good pub just up the road. As we had such lovely weather we spent quite a lot of time in the rear courtyard garden and also front garden watching such a variety of birds. Masham is only a very short drive down the road with plenty of eating places and a good co-op and market on several days. It is very central for both dales and moors. There are some very good walks to do locally and also around the reservoirs nearby. We will most certainly return to this cottage .
Delightful comfortable cottage for our end of January long weekend. Bramblewick is probably one of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in. Very comprehensive guest information and helpful additions like torches in every bedside cabinet. Very cosy with logburner going. Lovely to watch sheep in field opposite -watching us!
Our decision to return to Bramblewick was 'rubber stamped' when on our last morning we were lucky enough to see two barn owls hunting in the field outside the kitchen window just as daylight was breaking. An unexpected treat.
Must also mention Harry s fish and chip shop in Masham - delicious. Also The White Bear also in Masham , lovely meal.
Relaxing tranquility in delightful Bramblewick
This is as near perfect as a cottage stay could be. From the generous and thoughtful welcome pack to the cosy woodburner, I cannot commend Bramblewick too highly. The village boasts a tremendously friendly local pub with good beer and food that is a short stroll under clear starlit skies (you will find torches in the cottage leat you forgot to pack) and is handily placed for exploring attractions such as Forbidden Corner and The Himalayan Garden at Grewelthorpe.
A fabulous cottage in a beautiful part of the world.
Beautiful cottage, well equipped and very comfortable. We would definitely make a return visit, a lot more to see, and would recommend it to others.
Lovely, welcoming cottage with everything you need in tranquil locaction
Lovely weeks stay in Bramblewick Cottage. Great location, very tranquil with local pub nearby. Everything you need in cottage including the little extras which you sometimes forget to pack for a week away. An ideal escape!
