Lovely location but property needs attention
Bed needs new mattress, sags on both sides and is stained, no mattress protector fitted !. Bathroom too cramped, you can bang your head on the glass velux window when rising from the loo, impossible to clean your teeth or have a shave due to sloping ceiling, mould in shower Inc the shower head. Settee needs attention, poss new springs and cushions. Heating & hot water failed due to owners not changing gas cylinder, was rectified fairly quickly but no landlords Gas Safety Certificate in the property. Lots of other little niggling things but probably wouldn't have bothered us if main things had been ok, would probably be an insight to the owners to stay in the property for a week.
Thank you for your feedback. As you are probably aware Wilmcote cottages are all recently updated Grade II listed buildings and as such there are limitations on what can and cannot be done on door height etc which is part of the customer experience. Apologies for any inconvenience. Gas Safety Certificates are in place as this is a requirement and as you said when we were made aware that a gas cylinder replacement was required it was dealt with quickly
Enjoyed our stay, lovely welcome basket.
Very convenient for Stratford on Avon, Mary Arden Farm, hop on & off bus, and train station.
Thanks for your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back
