Cottage in Llanddona, Anglesey, North Wales - 10 Minute Drive/30 Minute Walk To The Beach. 10 Minutes Walk To Village Pub
About Julia Baines
Julia and Neil have owned Cyndal for the last 10 years. Julia is from the island although they now live off the island, but return as often as possible. The cottage is managed by local people, so there is always someone on hand. Julia and Neil are keen to make their cottage as comfortable as possible, a home-from-home. The cottage is within walking distance, or a short drive, of lovely beaches and country pubs/restaurants. Anglesey is an easy drive from cities such as Manchester and Liverpool, taking under 2 hours, but it feels a world away! Come and see for yourselves.

lovely for a short break
The cottage was very well equipped including a small welcome basket although we were only there a couple of nights. Plenty of cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery.
Fairly easy to find although the last bit is down a track marked no through road, so not immediately obvious.
There are plenty of leaflets about places to visit on Anglesey and back on the mainland .
We would stay there again as it is a good place to visit many different attractions
Short break in Llandonna
Lovely cottage in great location but details didn't tell of possible access problems
Just right for our 2 night break. Well equipped and very comfortable double bed.
Everything about our stay was wonderful. The property was immaculate, the owner had thought about everything. Home from home and then some. We would highly recommend this place
this place has it all
Lovely cottage and a great family adventure . Snowdonia is one of my favourite places , and to show its gems to my daughter has been great. This cottage is ideal , and ticks all the boxes , being in a remote location , having a log burner , surrounded by sea views and hidden meadow paths , and walking distance to a pub . on our stay here we wild camped and hiked in the glyders, went rock pooling at the Llyn peninsula , and watched seals in the Menai strait , and explored Anglesey island . next time I will book a longer holiday here .
lovely stay at cyndal cottage
the cottage was really lovely and very clean. i could have sat in the beautiful garden all evening. Even though we only stayed 2 nights we had been left a welcome package of tea ,coffee, biscuits etc, this was a lovely touch. we had a great walk straight from the cottage to an amazing beach, would stay here again definatley.
The cottage is just a 5 minute drive to the blue-flag sandy beach of Llanddona, or a very pleasant 30 minute footpath walk (it will take longer coming back, as it is unfortunately uphill). The beach also offers short walks to Penmon Priory and Holy Well. Popular for swimming and windsurfing, it also has toilets, shop and a café. Although, there are many wonderful beaches within driving distance.
Access to the cottage is via a single track which is narrow in places. Suitable for all light vehicles.
Please note that there are steps down to the cottage.
A car is essential, as the cottage is in a rural location. However, Bangor train station is only 10 miles away, Manchester airport about 80 miles and John Lennon Airport, 75 miles. Holyhead ferry port is around 25 miles.
