Why JM chose Barham
What makes this House unique
Park House is in a great location where guests can enjoy the best of both worlds. We are nestled in the countryside but still very close to transport links and amenities. So much can be found in this area including great country walks, beaches, historical sites and shopping to name but a few. Canterbury is also on the high speed train line so day trips to London are quick and easy...taking only 57 minutes! Park House itself is quite special. Secluded and spacious with fabulous gardens all ready for that game of croquet and glass of Pimms! It is warm, clean, contemporary and very comfortable. There is an outside hot tub and huge, private garden. Pet friendly.
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Great property, lovely location.
Rented the property for a family occasion. House was spotlessly clean, garden is lovely as is the tranquil location. Handover process was efficient and the whole renting process was easy. Thank you.
Great to hide away
We had a great weekend in this property. It has an excellent living area and its perfect for a summer evening barbecue and hot tub is a real bonus.
The beds are really comfortable and the provision of towels, bath robes and toiletries for each guest was a delight.
I would recommend reviewing the terms and conditions carefully before entering the property as we got penalised for leaving some things in a bit of a state - e.g. make sure you clean the barbecue!
But overall, I would strongly recommend the property if you want to hide away from the world for a while!
Well equipped and suitable for large family groups
A lovely spacious house with enough room for a large party to spread out and not be on top of each other. The garden has a large lawn so would be nice for children to run around in. The hot tub was clean and so very nice!
The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need to cook all your meals and two ovens is very useful. Washing up liquid and dishwasher tabs were provided.
The beds are comfortable enough and there is plenty of space to hang your clothes. The downstairs bedroom was useful if someone has reduced mobility because it has a shower and toilet next to it, it was good for my elderly mother, however, it is not suitable for a wheelchair, there are many little steps in and outside the property.
As we were stuck in traffic, my sister and family got there first and even though I booked the house, Jill was very kind and showed them in and didn't make them wait for me to turn up.
I would recommend this house, it is set up for large groups and we had a lovely time.
Everything we imagined and more. The house is beautifully kept and a large space to suit the 14 ladies making the most of a long relaxing weekend. We arrived to a welcome cake, wine and lots of kitchen essentials. The rooms were large and clean with towels and shampoo/shower gel provided which was a lovely touch. The hot tub is great fun and the garden area is huge- with picnic rugs, croquet set, and games to entertain. All in all a wonderful stay and we hope to be back!
The property is gorgeous and bright. It was perfect for my family stay.
The place was beautiful, and it was great to get away from London. We had plenty of space inside and the garden and outdoor space was great for the kids as well as adults.
The bedrooms were especially nice and the attention to detail was really great. With bath robes, towel sets and mini toiletries for each guest, plus a complimentary bottle of water by our bedsides, you could tell and appreciate the owners have really thought about their guests' needs.
The kitchen was fab, well equipped and a delight to cook in. The complimentary home-made Victoria sponge cake was absolutely gorgeous.
We visited Canterbury and Folkestone beach which were only short drives away. My family had a wonderful time.
Thank you Jill!
This is a lovely house, well equipped and in a fantastic private location. We rented this property for the Easter weekend and I could not say enough about it. The house was beautiful, even better than the photos! Jill was wonderful, she helped us find a private chef and we were able to schedule a grocery delivery which made our lives so much easier. I would recommend this property and I cant wait to try out some of the other places that Jill has.
Thank you so much for your kind comments. You were lovely guests and we look forward to welcoming you again.
