About Nicola Clark
We are based in Cambridgeshire and have been renting Moonlight Villa since buying it 2004. We found the villa by chance and have never regretted our purchase. Now retired we always look forward to going back to Kalkan as it offers a peace rarely found elsewhere. We have met some lovely people in Kalkan and always enjoy the excellent food. Kalkan is a beautiful place on a wonderful coastline with stunning mountains as a backdrop to the villa. I have reflected the area in the villa with furnishings that are very Turkish. We have kept the villa well maintained and offer good value for money.

Why Nicola Clark chose Kalkan
Moonlight Villa always makes you feel that you are on holiday from the moment you arrive and it enables you to relax very quickly. With good access to Kalkan shops and restaurants it doesn't take long to settle onto the sun lounger and enjoy the pool. The villa is in a peaceful location with a back drop of the mountains and the sea. We have enjoyed Kalkan over ten years and always look forward to returning. The villa is fully managed by KPS, who are always on hand to give assistance when needed.
What makes this Villa unique
Moonlight Villa offers us peace and quite in a great location. We very much enjoy the good roof top restaurants and excellent Turkish food. It has become very much like home from home over the years and we hope our guests feel the same.

Another brilliant stay at Villa Moonlight
This was our second stay at Villa Moonlight. There is a real homely feel to the villa and we love the flow of the rooms, outdoor space, rooftop terrace with brilliant views, as well as the balcony off the main bedroom and shaded garden area at the entrance of the property. Villa Moonlight is an easy walk down to the main street of Kalkan or the Old Town and far enough away to provide peace and quiet if you want to kick back and chill. Nicola the owner is a pleasure to deal with and quick to respond to any enquiries, and the management company are friendly and at hand should you need them. I'm sure we'll be back again next year and highly recommend.
A fantastic villa!
A fantastic and very comfortable villa with all mod cons, the best pool around, beautiful new bathrooms and an amazing large fridge. Short walk into town, and what a beautiful town too. We loved it here and will definately return.
Thank you very much for taking the time to write your review, we are glad that you enjoyed your holiday in our villa and would be very welcome to come back.
Fabulous stay yet again in Kalkan
Last visited Kalkan in 2011 and enjoyed it so much we couldn't wait to return. Chose Moonlight Villa and were all delighted with our choice. Well appointed villa in a beautiful spot with stunning views. Pool amazing and was maintained daily. All rooms were very tastfully decorated with the stone walls really adding to the docor. Walk into town is about 10/15mins thankfully downhill all the way but a very hot walk. Preferable to use a taxi for the return trip which usually costs about 15TL including tip. Any problems encountered are dealt with very swiftly by the management company. Would have no hesitation in recommending this villa or Kalkan and would love to visit again.
Thank you very much for reviewing Moonlight Villa. We try and aim to make your stay as comfortable as possible and our management company offer a very good service. Thank you for booking with us and we do hope that you return to enjoy another holiday at Moonlight Villa very soon.

Kalkan is surrounded by the Taurus mountains and offers a wealth of places to visit. Kas the nearest town is 30 minutes drive along a wonderful coastline. The following can be reached for days out, Xanthos, site of the Lycian Captial city good examples of historical remains. Islamar mountain village offering locally farmed trout. Village of Kale, site of a St John's Crusader castle and wonderful views. Tlos- Amphitheatre and mountains views. Dalyan Delta, sulphur mud baths. Saklikent Gorge.
Kalkan village consists of narrow cobbled streets which all lead to a very picturesque harbour. It is well known for it's number of very good restaurants either on the roof terraces or by the harbour, with very varied menus. A good selection of shops selling hand made jewellery, textiles, clothing. Around the bay are a number of 'beach' clubs offering water sports and good food. There is good taxi and bus services in the village. Thursday there is a very good market in Kalkan selling a wide variety of goods, including herbs and spices, honey, cheese, leather goods etc. For general food shopping there are 5 very well stocked medium sized supermarkets within 10 minutes by foot. There are also shops selling a good range of fish, meat and fruit and vegetables.
