It benefits from extensive views of the sea the surrounding hills and mountains in the distance. The varying sunsets are breathtaking. The pool and patio area are very secluded and yet with extensive views. The plot is secured with railings and accessed via an electric gate and small walking gate. There is a carport for two cars but also a drive for several more cars. The garden and pool are tended every week (Please note the deep end of the pool is 2.7 m and the shallow end is 1.2 m).The upper apartment is the Owner's accommodation which is not occupied during lettings. The lower appartment has a large patio. On the patio for alfresco dining there is a large table with 6 chairs which could sit up-to 8 people and a smaller table with four chairs. There is also a bar with small refrigerator. About CHRISTOS PLESTIS
We are a retired couple living in UK. I was born in Greece but spent all my working life in UK. My wife was born in UK by Austrian parents. We like travelling and also use our villa many times in the year. We are keen gardeners and spend most of our time looking after the garden.
CHRISTOS PLESTIS purchased this Villa in 1997
Why CHRISTOS PLESTIS chose Porto Cheli
We were recommended the area and fell in love when we first visited it. We bought the plot and had the villa built which was completed over some years to its present state.
What makes this Villa unique
We love the position for its views, the tranquillity and yet a 5 minute drive to the lively village of Porto Heli with all its amenities i.e. bars, restaurants, supermarkets and all kinds of shops. Also the proximity to the cosmopolitan island of Spetses (5 mins by car + 5 mins by water taxi). The must visit Epidavros Theatre, Nafplion old town, Ermioni town, Hydra island etc. (there are day cruising boats for Spetses and Hydra islands).

Thank you for your review.
I am a little disappointed with your low rating which is so different compared with all previous guests!
You have not mentioned any of so many
positive things of the villa but only negative things!
As we mention in our notes our water is very hard and therefore all our electrical appliances
(washing machine, dishwasher water kettle) as well as kitchen and bathroom taps, shower heads, suffer from mineral deposits which are difficult to clean and polish.
We try to replace our equipment as often as possible. The shower fittings in the main shower room are new this summer and the fittings in the en-suite will be replaced this year.
Again I am sorry our villa did not come up to your standards but I hope you enjoyed your
A little piece of heaven
Our first thought when we saw the villa, the pool and its amazing views. Well-maintained, every thing you need for a week is in or around the house (including the airco we used with great pleasure during the heat wave). Porto Heli is a very, very lovely town with great restaurants, its natural harbour, very friendly people and a perfect place for all kind of trips. From Porto Heli we went on a day-cruise to mesmerizing Hydra, an authentic Greec Island: just beautiful (63 euro's, 2 persons). We hired a motor-yacht for a day to cruise on the sea (100 euro's) and went to the Island of Spetses with a bustaxi (2,50) from Kosta, a little town just outside Porto Heli. A shopping-paradise with - again - so many picturesque views!
And if you want to meet the locals, visit the market in Ermioni on thursday and shop your fresh fish, fruit or vegetables.
After each trip back to the villa, to sit with a drink by the divine swimming pool (or took a dive in it), enjoying the beautiful scenery, listening to the sound of the crickets, we kept saying to each other what a splendid part of Greece we have found.
We want to thank Chris for everything: he gave us all the information we needed, he replied immediatly to our questions and for letting us rent this unsurpassed place. And, the great help of Athena, the housekeeper! Such a friendly lady who informed and helped us with everything. Efcharistó, Chris and Athena!
I know I used a lot of superlatives but that's how we experienced Porto Heli, its surroundings and the villa.
Now we are back in rainy Holland and the only negative thing is that we had to book the villa for 2 weeks instead of 1.
Dear Angeline and Rene,
Thank you very much for your lovely review.
I was very emotional when I read it as my wife and I are very proud of our villa and it is very
pleasing when our guests enjoy themselves so
very beautiful villa
The Villa was clean, accurate and everything as mentionned in the description. Both, the housekeeper Athena and the owner, are very friendly. Only the comunication with Athena is not so easy because she only speaks a little bit English. However, it worked!
The garden, pool and the view are wonderful! The weather was still fine in October so that we could swim in the pool as well as in the sea (8 Minute walk). There is a gravel beach and the water is clean. One star less because a car is essential for all Kind of Shopping and there are better seaside Resorts than Porto Heli. However, we enjoyed our stay very much and if you want to relax there is no better choice.
We are sad you only gave 4 stars because one needs a car to drive only apprx. ONE mile to the nearest supermarket! All the approximate distances are mentioned on the website.
However we are glad you enjoyed our villa but sad not to rate Porto Heli.
You obviously have a different view
to our ex King, the King of Holland, a huge number of very wealthy Greeks and other nationalities who chose Porto Heli to have their summer residences.
Porto Heli also features a "Nikki Beach Hotel & Spa" a chain of hotels you only find in places like Dubai, St. Tropez, Monaco, Marbella, Miami etc. and also the new hotel "Amanzoe"
a 5++ star hotel! We are sure the Owners must have given a good consideration to the location!
Thank you again for choosing our villa to have a wonderful holiday.
Many thanks for your kind review.
We are glad you enjoyed yourselves and look forward to
welcome you again in the future.

Gorgeous villa we didn't want to leave
I cannot recommend this villa highly enough if you want a relaxing holiday somewhere away from it all. It is private and secluded but with wonderful views. The pool is fantastic, the gardens all around the villa are lovely. I’m reluctant to praise the villa as much as it deserves as we’d like it to be available when we want to go back (tomorrow!). A car is definitely needed as the nearest shops/supermarkets are a couple of miles away in Porto Heli. There is a tavern and beach just about within walking distance but we didn’t try them - it was too hot to contemplate the walk back up the hill. The villa has everything needed and more. The inside photos do not do the place justice. I was slightly apprehensive about the kitchen as there was no photo and a previous reviewer had described it as basic. However, it was much better than that and very well equipped. The owner, Christos, was very responsive to all queries and gave clear instructions on how to get there. The housekeeper, Athena, and her husband were also very helpful (especially sorting out a toilet problem!). We would love to return.
