Lovely, well equipped retreat
Beautiful surroundings , very clean, there was nothing we needed that wasnt there. Really enjoyed our stay, very comfy and quiet, with loads of room to relax for more than our party of 27. Kitchen outstanding. Will definitely go again for a big family gathering.
Great for a large group
Had a great time at Blackton Grange with a group of 24 ladies on a Hen Party. In the middle of nowhere with beautiful countryside and wildlife. The house itself is well stocked with everything you need although the Wifi is hit and miss and no mobile reception. Great for a get away from it all holiday. Great communication from the owners and everything went smoothly.
Excellent stay. Had problems with electrics n water when checked in but got sorted in an hour.
One toilet was out of use, but there were enough for us. The fridge was large, but the freezer was not as big. Instructions giving directions were very helpful. Overall a fantastic experience.
I am pleased that you had an enjoyable stay at Blackton Grange. Apologies about the problem with the water supply which was sorted as you say within the hour. We hope that we can welcome you back to Blackton Grange sometime in the future.
We all loved our stay, Children and adults had such a good time. The house was perfect for our large family.
Easter weekend get together.
Thanks we had a lovely weekend. Enjoyed by all.
Glad to heard you had a great time Gillian. Hope we can welcome you again in the future.
A lovely place to relax
this will be one of the week end that will be spoken about every time I meet my friends again ,
40 friends met in this little beautiful location in a house that is well equipped for large numbers , the best was the big siting room with a log fire
The kitchen is great and the dinning room was very nice with everything you need and more .
The location and the views were stunning , a place that helps you reconnect with your believes , when you see such a beauty you have not choice but to humble yourself in front of a creator , such beauty can not be caused by the universal forces !
There was 2 suggestions that we could giveto the owner
One is tomake the corridors to the rooms a bit more appealing the house is so beautiful that it is a shame the corredors look like the ones you would see in a old office block maybe change carpets and put some pictures up on the walls . And the second suggestion is that there is a strong smell coming from the drainage , this i think must be due to the fact that the water in this area is very strong and loaded sulfide it may be worth exploring the net to see if there was something that can be done .
This 2 things would not have ruined our stay in the slightest way , the house is fantastic and I would highly recommend it . We are actually thinking of returning again next year !
The lady manager was very pleasant and helpful
Please make sure you take drinking water water in the house and in the area is not very nice!
We are so pleased to hear that you had a wonderful weekend with your friends and family.
With regard to the sulphur smell in the water this is because our water comes from a borehole and every now and again we have to change the carbon filter which eliminates the smell. I am very sorry to hear that you experienced this and can assure you we have arranged to have the filter changed.
We have taken on board your comments regarding the corridors and appreciate any feedback given by our rental parties. This will be fed back to our next meeting.
We hope that we can welcome you back sometime in the future.
