This charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath house is fully furnished with all the essentials needed to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. One king, one queen, bunk beds (one full and one twin) as well as a sleeper sofa comfortably sleep up to ten people. The kitchen is stocked with all dishes and cookware. Linens and towels are provided as well as a washer and dryer. The deck wraps around the home for great ocean viewing in front and from the back of the house. A picnic table is under the home for extra outdoor seating providing you many opportunities for Al Fresco dining upstairs and downstairs. A charcoal BBQ pit is also provided downstairs for your use. The breathtaking sunrise and sunset views from this house will be some of your most precious memories.
Two beach access points lead you to a sandy stretch of beach where you can lay out a towel and sunbathe or walk along looking for shells and sand dollars. One access point is located one street behind the house at the end of Jolly Roger, while the other is by the San Luis Pass Bridge. A public boat ramp is located just minutes away at the Brazoria County RV Park so you can enjoy some of the championship fishing this area is known for. The house lies in the path of a birding route with lots of pelicans, herons, and shorebirds that pass over at all times of the day. On calm surf days, be on the lookout for beautiful dolphins that pass in front of the house.
You are welcome to bring your own fishing poles and crab traps because there is lighted fishing pier located on the bayside of the Treasure Island community on Anchor Street. Kayaks can be launched from the beach or on the bay side at the end of China Clipper. The far side of the bay is a huge birding and wildlife park that you can access by boat, kayak or canoe.
A bait store is located in the neighborhood as well as a small convenience store called "The Brite Light". A short drive over the pass will take you to 7 Seas Grocery in case you forgot a few items.
Items not supplied by owner are beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, toiletries, toilet tissue, paper towels, trash bags, cleaning supplies, aluminum foil, Ziploc bags, condiments, sunscreen, first aid, charcoal, lighter fluid, and insect repellent.
If you would like to explore the area, Galveston is just a short thirty minute drive over the pass towards the east. Surfside is about a twenty minute drive to the west.
Property protection fee: $59.00
Cleaning Fee of $150.00 in addition to rental and property protection fee of $59 with protection coverage up to $3000.00.
Pets are allowed at owner's discretion, please call or email with pet description. If authorized, a pet fee of $75 per pet will also be required.
Long-term rentals (in excess of 12 nights) will require a larger deposit and be subject to additional terms and conditions.
Any damages, excessive cleaning charges, or late departure fees will be deducted from the security deposit.
Payment is required 30 days prior to arrival. The security deposit does not limit your liability.
More overnight guests than the maximum of 10 will be cause for eviction and loss of deposit.
Cancellation: A full refund will be given if reservations are canceled 30 days or more before the arrival date. If cancellation is less than 30 days, the deposit is forfeited unless the house is re-rented for your canceled date. Refunds are only given if a mandatory evacuation is called. Owner is not responsible for weather conditions.
Keys: (Arrival) 2 Keys will be in lock box on location. Keys will not be issued if signed Rental Agreement, payment protection fee and rental fees have not been received. You will receive a call or an email with the combination to the lock box prior to your arrival.
Keys: (Departure) Return all keys to the lock box after locking all doors and windows. There will be a $75 charge for each set of keys not returned.
Rules and Rental Policy: We only rent to families or adults with a responsible attitude. Absolutely no graduation, prom, fraternity or sorority groups. Do not bring your pets unless the owner has authorized your request and a $75 pet deposit has been made prior to stay.
Do not leave trash in the house.
Tenant is required to dispose of any and all garbage in designated neighborhood dumpsters. These dumpster are located at the end of San Luis Blvd. and Jean Lafitte.
Please leave the house in the same condition you found it when you arrived.
