Credo Cottage was built in the 19th century and was part of the Godolphin estate, owned by Lord St Levin, who also owns St Michael’s Mount. It was lived in for some years by a District nurse but when she left in the early 1990's it was gutted leaving just the four outside walls and a roof. It was rebuilt over the spring of 1997 and has been used as a holiday cottage since. The granite stones by the stairs had been a fireplace, which had been enclosed in bricks and smaller stones. They were rescued by the builders. The cottage has one room upstairs and 2 rooms downstairs. Upstairs is a spacious galleried bedroom. Downstairs an open plan living, kitchen, dining area and separate bathroom with a bath, shower WC and basin. The cottage sleeps 2 people and a cot (not provided), please note this cottage is high on the cliffs and although there is a sea wall it is not suitable for toddlers and small roaming children! Babies are very welcome, but no children aged 1- 4 years. Outside furniture is provided for use on the terrace.

Loved the cottage
We had a relaxed, quiet, comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is our third visit to Credo Cottage. I loved it.
Charming cottage with stunning views
We chose this little cottage for its stunning views and weren’t disappointed! Luckily we had beautiful weather and made the most of the outside on the little patio and garden chairs. The inside is quaint and the beds comfortable - we had everything we needed for our weekend. We took our little dog with us and would point out that the cottage is in a terrace and is not gated on one side. We made a temporary barrier with the bin and a chair which was enough to keep the dog secure. All in all a lovely weekend!
Loved this cottage .. on a small private terrace close to the town center..had a very calm good feel to the cottage..very well equipped..clean...beds made up on arrival..clean towels complimentary coffee tea and pint of fresh milk in fridge which was a lovely touch..wi.fi smart tv...and those uninterrupted views to st Michael s mount..from practically every window..was something else..from the small pretty patio views to Mousehole.. Penzance..the Lizard..The sound of the waves so calming..perfect relaxing get away ..
