Why Sheila MacIntosh chose Roybridge
Our two lodges are purpose built for warm comfortable holiday accommodation in all four seasons. The lodges are sited in secluded woodland on the edge of open countryside perfect for lovers of the outdoors and their pets. The location is ideal for both a quiet relaxing holiday or as a base to explore as the lodges are situated midway between Fort William and Aviemore, the two premier destinations in the Scottish highlands for outdoor activities!

Perfect for our needs. Absolutely amazing surroundings. The lodge was very clean on arrival. Tea, sugar, milk and biscuits was there ready on arrival, which we thought was an excellent little touch as we had travelled 400miles. It was lovely to sit outside with a cuppa before we unpacked. Can’t fault anything at all and the owner is so lovely and friendly. Definitely stay again :)
Comfortable lodge in remote location but not difficult to get to.
The property is excellent and I would highly recommend it.
Beautifully built cottage. Very homely and cosy and so lovely to come back to and relax in, after a long day out . Bed very comfortable. Perfect location, we enjoyed short walks along the Caledonia Canal and climbing the mountains around Glencoe, Fort William and Kintail. We ate out at lots of different pubs but also enjoyed cooking at the chalet. Kitchen well equipped. Would definitely stay again. Nice area outside to sit and relax. Great place to escape from it all but still only be a couple of miles away from everything you need. We have had a truly great holiday, thank you.
Beautiful lodge in a stunning setting!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the lodge is well set out with a lovely room, complete with its own balcony, upstairs. Perfect place for us and our dog! 🐾🐾
It was beautiful and had everything you could ask for. It’s beautiful and secluded.
We stayed at Behenie Lodges (Pine) from the 4th Feb until the 11th Feb 2019. Sheila greeted us on our first day of our stay, who was very welcoming and could not help us enough. The lodge is amazing, it has everything you need, we could not find one fault with it. We would take a local walk where we would find a dear roaming around, and lots of cows who are adorable. They do not cause any noise and it’s beautiful waking up in the lodge with lots and piece and quiet.
We visited Fort William and Glencoe on many occasions, which are a little way out but the drive and scenery are well worth the travel each time. There are many shops in fort William which is around a 20 minute drive, and a petrol station which is handy for the journey back. Ben Nevis is a sight you will never forget and Scotland is in general. The lodge itself is surrounded by mountains and amazing scenic views so it is very good for photographers. There are lots of waterfalls and rivers you come across, Scotland is unforgettable and we will definitely be back. Thank you.
Very welcoming excellent location.
Very cosy short of nothing excellent walks and amenties close by. Would definitely revisit.
