Whether you are looking for a family destination, some romance or just a fun break with your friends our beautifully furnished ground floor apartment will be just what you are looking for. The apartment offers an open plan living/dining room and kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a balcony with direct access to and overlooking the secure communal pools and gardens. The open plan living room is light and airy with big windows and a door onto the balcony. It is comfortably furnished with a sofa and two 'rocking' chairs, satellite TV, coffee table, squashy cushions and a rug. There are packs of cards and a few games including Connect 4 and Backgammon in the sideboard for you to use. The dining table has four chairs and the kitchen is well equipped.The master bedroom has twin beds (these can be moved to make a large double bed if preferred) with room for a third camp bed if required (only suitable for a child under 10), en-suite shower room and sliding doors opening onto the balcony. The second bedroom also has twin beds (also moveable) and is adjacent to the family bathroom. The apartment offers a large private balcony overlooking the pool area and communal gardens. The balcony is equipped with outdoor table and chairs perfect for al fresco dining and has direct access onto the communal gardens and swimming pools. There is also access via a lift or stairs to the rooftop sun terrace. The fantastic swimming pool and children's pool are set in beautiful landscaped communal gardens. The pool and gardens are completely secure and are secured via locked gates so are safe for little people. There are marble floors throughout and air conditioning in the open plan living room. The air conditioning will cool the entire apartment as long as you keep all windows, doors etc. closed and there are two fans available for use in the bedrooms. There are built in wardrobes in both bedrooms. All bed linen and towels for use in the apartment are provided. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment and a washing machine. All pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses etc. are provided. Baby equipment can be provided on request There are sunbeds/loungers and umbrella's and beach towels for for use by the pool or taken to the beach. There is also a base for the larger umbrella which should be filled with water for use by the pool. There are security grilles and shutters on most of the apartment windows and doors for your safety. Keys will be provided so you can open and close these. The apartment is only a 10 minute stroll from the famous Villamartin plaza which offers a small but very well equipped supermarket and a whole host of great restaurants, bars, entertainment, shops and banks. Or if you feel more adventurous, head to one of the many beautiful beaches located nearby that benefit from the warm waters of the Mediterranean, or maybe the water parks in either Murcia or Torrevieja.

About Jacqs Elliott
I live in England with my husband and three children. My father-in-law bought the property a number of years ago when they moved back to England from Africa, so that they could still enjoy the better weather without having to board a 12 hour flight. In 2012, he decided that he would like to let the apartment as we couldn't spend enough time out there and it seemed appropriate that other people could enjoy it too.

Why Jacqs Elliott chose Orihuela
It is ideally located for golf, beaches, restaurants and bars. It is only 20 minutes drive from Murcia airport and 40 from Alicante but it is far enough away from the busier town of Torrevieja for some peace and quiet but not too far should you wish to go clubbing or sample the nightlife there. It is also a great place for golf, with 3 courses within a short drive. There are also some great beaches within a short drive and many markets to browse locally.
What makes this Apartment unique
The apartment benefits from direct access onto the pool, something that I know many other similar blocks in the area do not provide. The pool and landscaped gardens are for resident's use only. They are well maintained and offer seclusion and safety for the children. Our children have had many happy summer holidays there with two of them learning to swim in the pool and us relaxing with a G 'n' T on the balcony with them safely tucked up in bed.

We stayed for four days at the end of September. The apartment was perfect, and had everything we needed. The coobag and ice packs came in very handy for days out playing golf. The apartment is very secure. We used the pool a couple of times, which was very nice and set in lovely gardens. I would highly recommend, and would definitely use again. Many thanks for letting us use you apartment.
We stayed for 2 weeks..the apartment was immaculate, spacious and light and airy with amenities enough for a relaxing stay...The access to the pool was fantastic with a seven year old..very quiet area..looking to book again early next year.
Gorgeous apartment, great location
We have just returned from a 5 night stay. The apartment is really nice,clean, spacious, bright and very well maintained as was the whole urbanisation. The pool is literally a few feet from the apartment and has recently been refurbished, pool chairs, towels , umbrella and cool bag are all provided. Maxx & Jeremy manage the apartment and live on site, they were both very warm and welcoming. The residents we met around the pool were all very friendly. The gardens are beautiful and it is very quiet and peaceful. The location is great, the bars and restaurants of Villamartin within easy walking distance and the beaches and shopping centres a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and hope to be back.

Villamartin apartment review
John and I had a very nice holiday at your apartment,as you know we had my handbag stolen in the fist week ,and I was very upset,but Jeramy was very helpful and sorted out the key situation for us,the apartment was in a lovely position and had everything we needed,the pool was also lovely ,but the pool man was a bit concerned at times about it being a bit cloudy,this he said was people swimming with lotion on,it's impossible to stop this,but it didn't stop me swimming everyday so we had very nice holiday overall,look forward to receiving breakages deposit back from you,kind regards Phyllis and John hamill

The pool issue is something that just happens sometimes. They thought they would have to close it on the Saturday that you left in order to give it a 'shock' treatment but in the end were able to rectify it without closing it.
The key/damages deposit was returned via BACs on 7th so please do let me know if you still haven't received it.
Superb location just steps from the pool.
We had a wonderful stay and the apartment and pool area was everything Jacqs said it was. It was so convenient just to walk down the steps to sunbathe or take a dip. In fact it was so comfortable and pleasurable by the pool that we only went to the beach once. The apartment was lovely and clean with everything provided and has excellent security features including an alarm. We would recommend Jacqs apartment to anyone and we would not hesitate to visit again.

Blue Flag beaches at La Zenia (5-10 minutes drive), Cabo Roig and Campoamour (20ish minutes drive)
Alicante - 40 minutes drive and Murcia - 20 minutes
The square in Villa Martin is approximately 10 minutes walk and has everything you need if you don’t want to venture further afield.
There is a large new Shopping centre at La Zenia. This provides an enormous supermarket and lots of well known high street shops like Primark, Claire’s Accessories and H&M. There is an entire floor of restaurants ranging from an ‘all you can eat’ pasta bar to a Wok bar where they cook everything in front of you! There is also a mini fun park for little people.
There are markets all over the area; three nearest are at Playa Flamenca on Saturday morning, San Pedro del Pinatar on Monday mornings, and at our local town San Miguel on Wednesday mornings. Two larger markets are held on Sunday mornings at Zoco on the San Miguel to Benijofar road, and Lemon Tree on the Los Montesinos to Guardamar, both about 20 minutes drive away.
There are two shopping malls of Habaneras and Dos Mares at San Pedro; both within 20 minutes drive. 20-30 minutes drive away are the beautiful beaches at Guardamar de Segura and Los Alcazares on the Mar Menor – long promenade, warm lagoon water, flamingoes, and typically Spanish.
The beautiful countryside can be explored on foot or by hiring bicycles locally. Villamartin Plaza has a shuttle bus service with regular departures along the coast, for example 5 minutes ride to La Zenia beach.
If you want a water park… there is one in Torrevieja and another in Murcia. Torrevieja is probably closer but Murcia is probably better. The park at Murcia also has a zoo. You can do both the zoo and the water park or just the water park.
Torrevieja is a busy bustling town and has too many entertainment possibilities to mention all of them.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON CHANGEOVER DAYS: During the school school summer holidays, changeovers are STRICTLY on Friday or Saturday and in 7 day blocks (ie 7, 14, 21 nights etc.) This is so we can manage the bookings and minimise disruption during changeover days efficiently.
