Our 2 nd visit
Excellent location for us. Good shops in village, a cocktail bar and we used the lido, which is a 2 minute walk away.
Great base for walking, either from the house or driving a short distance.
Would advise taking some sharp knives if you plan on doing much cooking.
We took our croquet set, a good lawn to play on.
I am sure we will go back again.
The lady who manages the property is very helpful.
Great house for a family holiday. Good facilities and helpful owner. Garden a great playspace!
Great property in a lovely area.
Lovely cottage in Hathersage, and great location for walking
Just returned from long weekend in Topcroft cottage, highly recommend this as a place to stay. Very comfortable and well equipped house for 8 guests, and convenient location in village. The welcoming gift of newly baked bread was a lovely treat!
Thank you for taking the time to review the cottage, I am thrilled you enjoyed the fresh bread you were very fortunate to have the baker at home this weekend. Hope we see you again. Kind regards philippa
Topcroft Cottage was a great place to stay for a walking weekend with a group of friends. The cottage is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The location in the centre of Hathersage is also perfect.
Topcroft Cottage is a delightful place to stay in Hathersage. It has everything you need with a lovely garden which we thoroughly enjoyed over Easter weekend. All of the bedrooms are very comfortable with two having en-suites. We enjoyed having family meals at the large dining room table. The cottage is in a great location in Hathersage with lots of things to do nearby.
Pippa was an excellent host and provided us with a welcome pack including a delicious chocolate and banana loaf.
We would definitely stay here again.
