Nearby are Medieval villages, Bastide towns, Chateaux, Abbeys, Churches and magnificent natural sites of outstanding beauty; whether it be wooded valleys or the meandering River Aveyron with its dramatic gorges.
Also wine growing regions.
Horse riding, canoeing, cycling, fishing, bird watching, rock climbing, tree wire, paragliding, wine tasting, museums, tennis and of course walking.
An afternoon's excursion by canoe through the Aveyron Gorge is considered a 'must' by nearly all guests.
Golf: Golf is a delight in this part of France ~ courses are often clear, even in the high season.
There is an excellent18~hole golf course at the beautiful city of Albi (45 min)/another smaller golf course @ Gaillac (40 min)
Why not take the whole family for a half day visit to the medieval town of Albi, to explore the boutiques and cafes, and then meet up at one of the many restaurants in town. There is also a public water park @ Albi for the children.
