A great house that's like home from Home
We were very impressed by the size of the property, the level of equipment and the cleanliness. The friendly host was just next door if one needed anything, but not intrusive. We didn't as most things you may not expect were provided. There was even cut flowers in a vase on the table. How good is that! There are views to the hills from the bedroom and from the landing there are fields. The only down side was the bed. Mr, found it a bit too firm. Unfortunately he has health issues which warrants a bit more give. Mrs and most people would have no trouble with it. The bedding was silky smooth cotton. Towels were so soft. Fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area as well as a bit further afield. We were lucky with the weather to. We would recommend a stay at this home from home.
Great place to stay
very clean with all the facilities (full sized cooker, microwave, freezer, lots of towels etc) we needed, including off street parking
Vivien supplied milk in the fridge, tea, coffee etc and had even left us kit kats so we could have a drink and a biscuit when we arrived. We had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend the cottage.
Thank you for all your kind comments, we really appreciate them.
So pleased you enjoyed your stay at Beamsley View..
With best wishes,
Vivien & Andrew
Home away from home for two Yorkshire Aussies
Beamsley View provided us with very comfortable self-catering accommodation on a visit from Sydney to our old stomping grounds. We couldn't have asked for more in terms of comfort and value. The cottage was superbly equipped. Addingham was an excellent base for our walks in the Dales and visits to relatives. We will certainly be back again.
