Ebbingford Manor dates back some 850 years. Said to have the smallest chapel in England and once opened to the public, this manor now offers 2 delightfully romantic & interesting self-catering holiday lets. Both holiday lets cater for two people; one is the main section of the manor, so we call it Ebbingford Manor; the other is a smaller section of the manor which we have named Bay Cottage which you can also find on the 'HomeAway' site.
Ebbingford Manor holiday let is located in the centre of the front court yard, with it's own parking space on the driveway, entering in to it's own spacious two storey entrance hall. Oak panelled walls, old beams, and archways adding to a wonderful ambience. Shuttered windows and wooden floors with rugs give a luxurious feel. Ground floor: Living room with wood burner, freeview Tv, Dvd, Cd; Dining room/kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer. First floor: Bedroom with kingsize bed (four poster), Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Gas CH, bed linen and towels inc. WiFi available. Garden with table & two chairs. Unlike Bay Cottage, Ebbingford Manor is not dog friendly.
Bay Cottage is the first door you come to as you come up Ebbingfords' driveway, with its own off road parking space near to its front door. You enter straight into the living/dining room, a vaulted ceiling with a sky light makes this a lovely light room. It's walls combine beautiful old stone with wood panelling, a trait throughout this old manor. The Living/Dining room has a small oak dining table with two chairs; a sofa; wood burner; TV, CD/Radio with USB/Bluetooth. The bedroom has a kingsize bed, a small wardrobe with 3 drawers and further storage space under the bed. The kitchen has gas cooker, washing machine & microwave. The bathroom has a shower over a corner bath and toilet. The whole property is on the ground floor and only about 500ft total with gas central heating. Bed linen and towels supplied. Garden with table & two chairs. Dog are allowed, for small breeds only due to size of accommodation. The garden is not secure for dogs to roam freely.
Located in the centre of town, Ebbingford is little known even in Bude, set quietly back in a secluded area, tucked away from the westerly winds under the lee of Efford Down, making it a wonderful sun trap on those clear days. Plenty to explore with coastal walks, sandy beaches, golf, fishing, surfing and swimming right on your doorstep. Plus Clovelly, Boscastle, Tintagel Castle, Rock & Padstow just 30 minute drives away.
Pub approx 100metres away, shop 200 metres & beach 400 metres. The manor is a 5 minute walk to town, passing the canal, local pub & shop on the way. Beach 400 metres away.
