Really enjoyed the stay, very clean, comfortable and friendly.
Just there is no Wifi and if you need it for business or for family emergencies, that could prove difficult. No lake view, you have to drive or walk down to lake.
Im sorry you were not made aware of the wifi available.
It is provided through May to Sept.
Perfect Country Retreat
We wanted to see a bit of Ireland off the main tourist routes and this was absolutely delightful. There was plenty to see and do just a short drive away. Of course just sitting in the garden and listening to the sheep “bah” in the distance and the donkeys chomp on the grass behind us was pretty special as well!
Delighted you enjoyed your stay.
Lovely to have met you.
Amazing and cosy stay at Sally's cottage
Me and my partner stayed at Sally's Cottage end of April .
She didn't know where am I taking her it was a wee surprise .From the moment we walked in we fell in love .The place was so cosy and cute and unique .
Mr Ray arrived soon to greet us ,he was very nice and he even lights up the fireplace for us. We woken up Sunday morning to hee - haw of four Donkeys braying which I find it awesome :) Honestly there is everything you need if you want to peaceful weekend or even week away to relax . It was close to Ballina town and beautiful Lough Conn with overview on Nephin Mountain provides a wonderful backdrop to the villages all around. We also made a trip to Achill Island and Downpatrick Head which is spectacular and must see ! For someone who love fishing that's the place to be , famous for Salmon and Trout .People I highly recommend Mr Treynor cottages to stay and we will definitely be back in near future :)

Very clean and cosy
I would like to thank Mr Traynor for his warm welcome and very helpful advice regarding restaurants and places of interest and for making himself readily available to us.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Briar Rose cottage. It was very comfortable and well equipped.
Briar Rose cottage was ideally situated for my fishing holiday. Ray and Rose were very welcoming and hospitable and helpful throughout my stay. It was a treat to have a turf fire and to have somewhere to sit outside. I would recommend it highly.
Mr Sullivan was no bother at all...a cheerful chap with
plenty stories....thanks a lot Jim....great to have met you.
Lovely stay - lovely place and people.
We found this lovely cottage and its fantastic owners by chance, called them, and got an answer from abroad! Ray was travelling, but smilingly redirected us to his lovely Rose. In two hours we were set up in Sally's Place and had gotten overview and maps over everything possibly needed and wanted.
We enjoyed our stay very much - and even prolonged it with a night.
The place has everything one could want - including freezer, washing maschine and tumble dryer. There is no dishwasher - and no need for it either.
It is clean and well-maintained - they have restored and decorated everything themselves and continues to keep it very well.
As previously mentioned the owners are a fantastic couple. Friendly, informative, chatty and in every way service minded.
We really do recommend the the cottage, the place and the people and we will come back later to.
Thank you, Rose and Ray, dor a really lovely stay.
