Enjoy the leisure of lakefront living at this Olde Tahoe West Shore, split lakefront home with a lovely park like setting. The Church Lakefront offers 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, lake views from most all rooms, open fireplace, beautifully landscaped front yard, plenty of parking, easy access to the lake, and a buoy for your boat or water toys, and sleeps 8. Located in gorgeous Hurricane Bay, simply cross West Lake Blvd to access the soft pebble beach, clear blue Tahoe water, and the buoy. This is an ideal summer location with all of the fabulous West Shore treasures nearby. Launch your boat at Obexer's High and Dry Marina, just down the road, and from there your options abound. Cruise over to Chamber's Bar for a lively crowd and their famous Chamber's Punch, stop at the Westshore Cafe for live music and great food, or stop in at Sunnyside Restaurant for their signature fish tacos.

In the winter, enjoy soaking in the view of the lake and the close proximity to skiing/boarding/sledding at Homewood, Squaw, and Alpine Meadows. Kids have plenty of room for snow play in the large, flat front yard.

We are currently accepting rentals for a 5 night min stay between Dec 15-27 and a 7 night min stay from, Dec 27 to Jan 2. We do not accept arrivals on Christmas Day.

Nice Family Home in a Great Location

The interior is a bit outdated but you can't beat the location, and the management company is very responsive. Our family would stay here again!

House has a lot of deferred maintenance

We rented this house in February 2017 so there was a lot of snow cover and perhaps that was the cause of the home's problems. The heater was broken upstairs, we couldn't plug in space heaters or electric blankets in the master bedroom because the outlets were out, the dishwasher and the oven were both out, and the thermostat downstairs broke on our 2nd day. The furnace downstairs makes tons of noise all night long so sleeping through the night wasn't an option. The toilet overflowed after draining the bathtub. There's a lot of deferred maintenance. The house is cute from the exterior and would have a nice view of the lake if the windows weren't covered in snow. Heather with Wells & Bennett was wonderful - the only saving grace.

Old charm house with great lakeview location, spacious, clean

We booked our summer weekend trip last minute and found this charming house available for our stay with a bonus lakeview location. The house is a bit outdated, but is spacious and clean. We were excited to use the outdoor space but unfortunately the grounds were infested with yellow jackets which made it difficult for us to enjoy any of the outdoor space. There was also a nest near the front door so we had to quickly go in/out of the house to avoid letting them into the house (we unfortunately missed a couple getting in). We notified the property manager and they had someone come out quickly to seal the nest hole and spray the grounds, but unfortunately this wasn't enough to clear them up entirely. Overall would stay in this property again mainly because of location, interior space, and yard space.
