The house is on a quiet, private road with its own parking area to the front and set within pretty gardens. The house comprises 4 well-proportioned bedrooms (all airconditioned and with ceiling fans). The main living area is on the raised ground floor. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite shower room. There is one further king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and a family bathroom. The fourth queen bedroom is on the lower ground floor with ensuite shower room. Off this is a desk area, two sitting areas, gym and utility room. There is a separate entrance to the lower ground but it can be accessed via the stairs from the kitchen. The raised ground floor has a large, comfortable sitting room (with TV and DVD player) which leads out through two sets of double doors onto a generous side dining/sitting area patio. There is also a door from the kitchen onto the patio. A family area beyond the kitchen leads out onto the pool and rear garden. There is a quiet seating area for two on the front porch to enjoy beautiful sunsets from. Although it is handy to have a car to sightsee and get the shopping in, 3 Lascelles is a 5-minute walk to Lime Grove (restaurants, cinema and shopping) and Holetown with its beaches, restaurants, chattel village shopping complex and large supermarket. For quieter beaches, head for Colony Club beach, or the beaches just to the south of Sandy Land Hotel. Our House Manager, Sarah, is delightful and enormously helpful. She can help with organising airport transfers, car hire, babysitting and a chef. The tennis court opposite is available to rent and we can recommend a very good tennis coach. The apartment on the top floor of the house has a separate entrance and is tenanted by a family member. They do not have use of the pool or garden whilst guests are in.

We had the most fabulous vacation staying here. A great amount of space for six adults and the house was extremely well equipped with every possible thing you could want. Sarah the house manager was amazing and truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The garden and pool were kept spotlessly clean as was the house, during our two week stay we lost count of the amount of times we had clean towels and bed linen. The well stocked supermarket and beach are an easy ten minute stroll away as are many great places to eat. We loved everything about our stay here, we are missing it dreadfully and are in the process of booking again for next year. Thank you so much Team Mahy!

Beautiful home in a perfect location
We are regular visitors to Barbados and this was our first time in this beautiful home, it won’t be our last. Everything was perfection. The Mahy home is beautiful, spacious, spotless and so close to the centre of Holetown the location is just perfect. Only a few minutes walk to the beach, shops, bars and the bus to explore other parts of the island. We had a visit from monkeys that walked through the garden, a highlight of our holiday. There were 7 adults staying and we had plenty of room to sit and eat together or find a nice secluded spot to read a book. Until next time, we will be back. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

You cannot be disappointed with this property
The house oozes comfortable style and has an amazing amount of space. It was just perfect for our holiday in Barbados. The location is quiet and secluded yet minutes from the beach. it is brilliantly managed and we would re-book in a heartbeat.

This property is perfect! Very large rooms, well equiped, well maintained, just perfect!
It is located within walking distance of the beach, the shopping in Holetown and the grocery store. You could probably do without a car rental, but i would recommend it to see all of beautiful Barbados!
Sarah was really helpful and always available.

Great location. Great size rental
Family of 8 —-lots of space. Kids in their twenties. Had a great time. Able to walk to everything. Beach/store/restaurant/. Taking the bus was great and cheap. Suggestion—bring food-snacks—-grocery store expensive. Swimming pool was great. Lots of monkey in the front and back of the house. Sarah. House manager was great. Garden/pool/house was taken care for the two weeks

We are located just outside Holetown in a quiet cul-de sac off the main road. The location is 7 mins away from major supermarkets, banks, restaurants, bars, duty free shopping, cinema and beach. Zaccios restaurant does fantastic local fish cakes and rum punch. Tides restaurant is a bit more upmarket/fine dining. The Beach House is restaurant and bar and is great for sundowners and also specialises in great Bajan cuisine at reasonable rates. These restaurants are all seaside with great views and friendly local staff. Hiring a car is useful as there many fantastic sights within 8-12 miles from Lascelles. Animal Flower Cave is set within the dramatic cliffs to the north of the island. On the East Coast (Atlantic side), Cattlewash is 2 miles of stunning, almost empty beach and is great for a breezy walk. There is no swimming there, but you can paddle or go slightly further south to visit Bathsheba - a must-see - for the bathing pools and to watch the surfing. While you are there, stop in at the Round House for local fish pate - pure heaven!! Also lovely for lunch in this area is Atlantis. On the South Coast of the island there is the Oistins Fish Fry on Friday and Saturday. It is a great authentic Bajan outdoor food venue and the place to experience the local party scene. Based in the charming historic city of Speightstown, we recommend Reefers & Wreckers Dive Shop for great scuba diving trips on the west coast of the island. More information on Reefers & Wreckers can be found on Trip Advisor or email directly on firstname.lastname@example.org. Just north of there, near Six Mens Bay, try the Fishpot for a really exquisite lunch with beautiful sea views. Mullins Beach Bar is also a great spot for lunch just south of Speightstown. A great beach for kids and adults alike, with an inflatable playpark and motorboat watersports (ask for Malibu). Spy Watersports provides the ultimate new experience - flyboarding!!
