About Angela Williams
Sorry we don't have a photo! We bought the property after a move 'south' from Knoydart. We live here with our 2 children, our springer spaniel Corrie and 2 cats. We have owned a self catering property for many years but enjoy being on hand to look after it. We know that renting a place next door to the owners can be a concern - but rest assured, we are there if you need us but the chances are you won't see us again after we have met you! Angela is a development manager with the Knoydart Foundation, a community land owner. Mark is a marine biologist and also runs his own RYA school - so if you fancy a power boat course, get in touch!
Angela Williams purchased this House in 2014
Why Angela Williams chose Acharacle
We want you to have a great holiday and have enjoyed making the Tower as homely as possible and somewhere we would enjoy going on holiday. We love the upside down nature of the property - bedroom and bathroom down stairs with a spiral staircase leading you up into the living room. From here you can step out onto the balcony to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining, overlooking the local woodlands and Loch Sunart beyond.
What makes this House unique
We love going on self catering holidays- but also know the risk of renting a property and being disappointed. We have tried to furnish the property so all you need to bring is your food ( and maybe a bottle of wine!). Everything else is provided, from dishwasher tablets to hot water bottles! We can even supply dog bowls and dog towels. We want you to have a relaxing holiday so just ask if you want to check on any detail. We look forward to meeting you.

A lovely property, ideal for a couple and a furry 4 legged friend.
Nice and easy check in , a great pub/ hotel within 2 mins walk, so no cooking required . Highly recommended.
Thank you for that and hope your furry 4 legged friend enjoyed his week!
This is a delightful property. We were met by the owner who showed us around and made us welcome. Everything was very comfortable.
The owner provided a helpful book of information about how everything worked, very useful.
There were lots of books and maps of the area to help with planning our days out.
On a warm evening the balcony overlooking the garden is a pleasant place to relax. We enjoyed our stay very much.
So glad you enjoyed your week both at The Tower and exploring the area. Thank you for your kind comments.
Comfortable house in a great location.
We had a great week in this comfortable house. It is very well equipped and the location is wonderful. A great base for exploring a beautiful area!
Thank you, so glad you had a good time and managed good weather and no midges!
Clean, cosy & comfortable accommodation in a fantastic location. Angela met us on arrival & showed us around the property. There are lots of books, films, CD's, games & local information in the property. We were so lucky to have lovely weather in April & there are so many places to visit. The local hotel is a few minutes walk away and serves meals. The view of the Loch could be enjoyed from the upstairs & balcony. We would recommend this property for a holiday
thank you for your lovely feedback and so pleased you got the good weather. Hope you get chance to come back and explore some more. Kind regards, angela
We are well travelled in UK, Europe and worldwide but the tower is top of our favourites. That’s for quality, location and hospitality. Thankyou
Oh wow, what a wonderful review, thank you. Really pleased you had a good few days to enjoy all the area has to offer. Hope we get chance to welcome you back.
Couldn't have been better, we just loved it
Ang and Mark are wonderful hosts, welcoming, friendly and informative.- and unexpectedly generous with the lovely treat of home made cake on arrival, The place is just perfect for 2, very special, magical, peaceful and lovely. Our 2 dogs loved it too, and especially the lovely woodland walk nearby. If we ever stay in the area again, this will be the place! The only thing I hated was dealing through HomeAway, it is the most dreadful system I've ever encountered, and I intend never to make that error again.
Oh thank you so much for the lovely review, it was great having you to stay ( by the way, we never found the dog food bag!!) and hope you can make it back again. I understand your issues with regard to the booking process and pleased you got through them to come and stay.
