About Rebecca Russell
I have owned this house in Edinburgh since around 2009 but was brought up in the city and and lived and worked there for many years, on and off. I have another holiday let in the spectacular Ullswater Valley of the English Lake District and maintain a very high standard of holiday let.
Why Rebecca Russell chose New Town
We bought this house because it's in an amazingly central, yet peaceful location on a square with no through traffic. There are no neighbours above or below and we have the benefit of an integral single garage.

Exquisite, clean, homely. Beautifully furnished. Perfect location in a desirable part of Edinburgh only a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of the city as well as the picturesque community of Stockbridge.
Great Stay in New Town
We were in town for just over a week. Couldn’t ask for a better location. Easy walk to several different neighborhoods.
Great location and close to all the attractions, thoroughly enjoyed the home!
Will visit again someday.
Charming mews house
Just had the most wonderful stay in Newtown in a charming two-story cottage/dwelling.Cozy comfortable quiet private yet two steps from the charming area of Stockbridge.Tons of restaurants shopping public transportation and very kind and gentle people all around.not fancy but A really special place!
We will book this place again and again !
We had a wonderful week at this excellent property, it is in a fantastic location, tucked away and peaceful but really central - perfect, thank you.
Edinburgh Airport is approximately 10 miles away - bus and tram
Waverley station and Haymarket Station are approximately a 10-15 minute walk away
7 Gloucester Square is is Edinburgh's City Centre, in the heart of the beautiful Georgian new town. Edinburgh is a great city to walk around but if you prefer the bus services are excellent as is the new tram system.
Central Edinburgh has all the shopping and restaurants your heart desires and is a short walk away. However 7 Gloucester Square is also very well situated for the 'village' of Stockbrige, a bustling and vibrant area with lots of quirky shops, quality food stores and great places to eat and drink.
