Lovely house in a great location
The cottage was comfortable, cosy and well-kitted out. The decor was beach themed which made sense given the location, literally seconds from the beach. Amazing view from bedroom window at the back and that balcony would be fabulous in the warmer months. Good bathroom facilities and very comfortable beds. Good quality bedding and towels. Parking for 2 cars was great as we never had to worry about finding a space, especially when loading.
There were lots of homely touches in the house but less nicknacks would have made life a bit easier for us as we didn't always have space for our own things.
Hunstanton has lots to offer and is well positioned for exploring other seaside towns, Kings Lynn and the surrounding countryside.
A superb venue
The property is warm, very comfortable, excellent beds, reasonable cooking facilities, very convenient for the town centre, the bus station and the five-minutes-walk-away Tesco. We were not lucky with the weather, four out of our seven days having stormy winds and rain or heavy showers. This really tests a place, and it lived up to it completely. Being the autumnal equinox we could sit in the back bedroom, which faces due west, and watch some dramatic sunsets. We loved the colour scheme of the décor. I couldn't say that the objets d'art in the rooms were to our taste, but this was a minor point.
Wonderful location for beaches and town. Beautiful house, good parking, nicely decorated everything was ideal. Definitely would recommend
Lovely property, decorated beautifully. Balcony great
Enjoyed watching the world go by from the first floor balcony. House beautifully decorated and felt very at home. Sue, the owner, was very helpful with any enquiries and left a welcoming package of the basics plus some croissant, brie and carrot cake.
This was a cosey, clean and well equipped home from home. We had a wonderful time, especially going to sleep with the sound of the sea was so relaxing. We were away for a week with our 2.5 year old grandson and there were loads of things to do within walking distance and just a short drive from other amenities. We would recommend this lovely getaway to anyone wanting a break by the sea, with all the seaside attractions on the doorstep.
This is an excellent house to stay in, wonderful location with good views across the wash from the balcony. Would recommend this house to all for a break in Hunstanton.
The local attractions include the royal estate of Sandringham, Norfolk lavender, Caithness crystal, RSPB reserves, and snettisham zoo. The local coast hopper bus will take you along the 20 mile stretch of coastline to Blakeney stopping off at Holme next to sea, Brancaster, Burnham Deepdale, Thornham, Holkham and Wells next to sea.
