Why Anne Campbell chose Swanage
We live in Swanage and love the seafront.
What makes this Apartment unique
We are right by the water and yards from the beach, and yet we have dedicated parking at the rear of our property.

We enjoyed our stay.
Great location. Very comfortable. Showers very good. Wi fi inconsistent. Good tv facility. Definitely recommended.
April Swanage stay
We stayed at Below Decks at the end of April and it was lovely. Below Decks is as described and was just what we were looking for. It's well situated for day trips and the place is very comfortable, clean and well equipped. Thanks to Anne and Hamish for a lovely stay.
Below Decks is in a super situation. Shops, bars, beach and restaurants are all just seconds away. Car parking an absolute bonus.
The flat is cosy but lacked attention to detail with cleaning, dust on bed valances and on bed bases. Kitchen crockery etc didn’t feel clean, suspect the dishwasher is not working as efficiently as it could. Kitchen utensils were lacking, one medium saucepan and one extremely large stockpot. Only four wine glasses, none of which matched and a frying pan that was only fit for the bin. On the plus side so many mugs and cups!
The combi microwave oven was a bit of a challenge but thankfully there were some instructions.
Despite the niggles of utensils and cleaning issues the situation of the flat means we would return and please owners can you sort out these niggles!
You could stay in this flat with no need for a car, we only used it twice as we took the Breezer bus, boat trips and Swanage steam Railway.
Plenty to see and do in the area. Highly recommend the Waterpark at Corfe and Brownsea Island.
Very enjoyable short stay....home from home.... would love to return ! 👍
Loved being so close to seafront, shops, pier etc walked everywhere.
Apartment suited our needs very well, it is so close to all the amenities that Swanage has to offer, we didn’t need to use our cars and appreciated the two parking places. Beds were very comfortable and had nice linen. Everything we needed was provided. Can’t wait for our next holiday here.
Great location very clean and good facilities
We have stayed here for the last 3 years and have booked again for next year
Special interest holidays:
I provide Painting breaks from my Studio in North Swanage. Any skill level welcome, and a variety of media available to choose. I also take people out on location if they wish to work outside.
The sea is approximately 30 feet away! The safe sandy beach is about 100yards away. This is swanage beach. Around the chalk cliffs and past Old Harry Rocks the next bay is the great golden sweep of Studland beach. Around the other way and you have the limestone cliffs and sea quarries that form part of Swanage's stone heritage.
Bournemouth and Southampton airports are both within reach. From Southampton you walk from the airport exit straight onto the station platform at Southampton Parkway. From here you get a train to Poole Bournemouth or Wareham There are bus links from all these to Swanage. Travel from London takes proximately two and a half to three hours by car and much the same by train from Waterloo and bus.
