About Michael Kroeger
Holly Hogan, the owner, lives in Johannesburg at present with my husband, Gordon and two adult children who are completing their University degrees.
Michael Kroeger purchased this Cottage in 2015
Why Michael Kroeger chose Stratford-upon-Avon
My sister lives in Stratford-upon-Avon so we decided to purchase a property nearby. We also love this part of England and enjoy the proximity to Birmingham airport for easy air travel.
What makes this Cottage unique
10-15 min walk into Stratford town centre which has super shops, restaurants, cinema and most important the theatres. We love the historical importance of this lovely town and the beautiful River Avon.

Great location and very comfortable.
Lovely little house in a perfect location for exploring Stratford Upon Avon from. It was lovely to be able to park the car and just be able to walk into the town. The house was very well equipped and comfortable and hope to return soon.
Lovely home. Very comfortable and spacious. It has everything you need for a self catering holiday
Ideal location if visiting the theatres and the town centre if you prefer to eat out. A short walk to the riverside. Plenty of places to visit within 30-45 minute drive especially if you like to visit gardens.
Many thanks for your very positive review.
I'm very glad that you enjoyed your stay at Holly House.
Quiet cosy accommodation - home from home
A well equipped, very comfortable cottage with plenty of space for a family of 5, close to amenities and a short, scenic walk to the town centre. This was our second stay at Holly House, and hopefully it will not be our last!
Many thanks for your very positive review of Holly House.
I am most grateful for your kind words as you did have some problems esp with horrible kitchen bin.
Best best wishes
Wonderful holiday home.
Very relaxing home about a 20 minute walk to the center of town. The home is very inviting and is well equipped. It was a pleasure to return here after every day’s outing. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. It was nice to have a half bath on the ground floor in addition to the main bath on the top floor. All three bedrooms are on the top floor. You must be comfortable with carpeted stairs. There was also a very complete manual that was very helpful when something wasn’t cooperating as we thought it should. The home also has a pretty little patio that is sheltered. If we return to this area again we would stay here.
Thank you for your very positive review of Holly House; I really appreciate it.
I'm so glad that your stay worked out well & that you were comfortable with everything provided.
It was exactly as it was described, very clean, very comfortable, a lovely atmosphere, and a short walk into town. We all really enjoyed ourselves, so much to do and see.
Lovely house and great location
We stayed at the Holly House for 4 days with our teenage daughter. It is a lovely house, has everything you need for a great stay and is 10 mins walk into the centre of Stratford (a lovely walk along the river). There is so much to see and do in Stratford and the surrounding area and this house is an ideal base. The neighbours were very helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out too!
Situated in the Old Town of Stratford-Upon-Avon, within driving distance of Picturesque Warwick, Royal Leamington Spa, and the Cotswolds. Bustling Birmingham is a short train journey away.
