My husband and I live in Cromer Norfolk with our two Cockerpoos Isla and Amber. When we are not at Rainbows End we spend our time visiting our grandchildren or walking our dogs. We live a 20 minute drive from Rainbows End and do all our own cleaning and maintenance to ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort. We are on hand should you have any problems or need advice during your stay.
Angela Smith purchased this Cottage in 2014
Why Angela Smith chose Bacton
Having spent many wonderful holidays in Norfolk we always dreamt of having a peaceful weekend retreat by the sea and this was realised in 2011 when we purchased Spindrift. We purchased Stones Throw in November 2014 so our growing family could holiday together and to enable our guests to enjoy the delights of this wonderful part of England. Rainbows End is situated in beautiful park land, with direct access to wonderful dog friendly beaches all year around whilst the beaches offer a safe environment for children of all ages.
What makes this Cottage unique
Stones Throw is newly decorated and furnished for 2015 and we have added those little touches that will make your holiday as comfortable and relaxing as possible. We provide family friendly aspects including, high chair ,bed guards, travel cot, toys, children's gate, and unlimited access to Wi-fi. The wonderful all year dog friendly beaches and the huge green expenses make the park a dogs paradise.

We enjoyed a very tranquil and peaceful week, chalet very comfortable and fully equipped, also very well situated for enjoying the rest of Norfolk. We will return to Rainbows End. 🌈
The property was clean and well kept. Well equipped kitchen. Very good access to the very clean beach with plenty of walks with dogs. So pleased to be able to take our 2 dogs.
This property is like it says a stones throw from the beach, the site is quiet, clean and well maintained.
There is a great supply of books games and dvds.
Everyone we came across was very friendly.
There was a shop and cafe in walking distance.
Every time we went down to the beach more often than not it was very quiet or we were the only people on it.
We really liked the lighthouse inn public house and poachers pocket both in walking distance.
All in all if you want a nice quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of life this is the place to be.

North Norfolk has such an array of wonderful sandy beaches its tough to choose which one to visit. At Sea Palling you can walk forever on beautiful golden sand only 20 minutes away. A further 10 mins along the coast road leads to Horsey Gap you can visit a colony of seals, Winterton has fantastic views and endless sand dunes and not forgetting the famous Holkham beach. Cromer Pier is famous for crabbing and West Runton has wonderful rock pools and ranger led activities in the school holidays.
Norwich Airport is only 40 minutes by car. North Walsham railway station is only 10 minutes from Rainbows End and is fed directly from Norwich.
Rainbows End is ideally situated to visit this beautiful contrasting county. Cromer with its historic pier and quaint Theatre is just 15 minutes away. Great Yarmouth offers far more than kiss me quick hats and sticks of rock; horse, greyhound and stock car racing, sea life centre, piers, musuems and a historical dockyard are all only 30 mins away. Norwich with its historical castle and wonderful shopping are 40 minutes. The Norfolk Broads offer various boat trips self drive or guided tours.
There are some great local attractions for the kids to enjoy. In Bacton Village there is a children's play park which is only a 5 minute walk. In Mundesley there is an Adventure Island Golf course and a Skate Park as well as a children's play area. Lots of children and dog friendly places to eat locally with our personal favourite the Sugar and Spice cafe just around the corner.
