Barn in Ringmore, Kingsbridge, South Devon, England - Pretty Village; Peaceful Location
About Helen Pracy
The owners live in Birmingham and love escaping down to Ringmore, although this does not happen as much as they would like, thanks to work commitments and 2 teenage sons. They have the property managed by Pebbles of Salcombe, who have an excellent reputation for their high standards.
Helen Pracy purchased this Barn in 2010
Why Helen Pracy chose Ringmore
Ringmore is a secluded and really pretty little village - it feels a bit like a closely guarded secret. It is close to the hustle and bustle of places like Salcombe and yet is very peaceful. It is a real bonus to have an award winning pub just a few short steps from the barn, which does very good food. It is 5-7 minutes to Bigbury beach by car, but it is also possible to walk to Aymer Cove (some half to three quarter miles from Ringmore). The kitchen is fantastic to cook in & the garden is a delight, with very pretty sea views. Unexpected pleasures have been the bird life and fantastic night skies.
What makes this Barn unique
Ohope Barn has a wonderful sunny open plan living area, with a spectacular kitchen area. There is plenty of space and at the same time has a comfy, family feel. It is ideal for both families & couples. The location of the barn is truly wonderful, with so much to enjoy in the surrounds and yet enjoying a truly peaceful location. There are beautiful views to the sea from the garden, and it is only 5-7 minutes to the beach.

GREAT BARN ACCOMMODATION FOR FAMILY HOLIDAY!!!
We stayed for a family celebration in August and had a great time. The barn is beautifully appointed with a kitchen to die for. Very roomy inside and out. Everything you could possibly need was
provided. The weather was so good we spent 3 days at Bigbury beach . Overall, no complaints whatsoever.
Great place to stay in wonderful location
Booking and contact with property owner was very good. Access to property was poor on arrival (wrong keys had been left in key safe). Neighbours kindly assisted to gain entry (they called another number for the property management company). Accommodation was superb and we had a very enjoyable stay. Shame the garden has been neglected.
Lovely barn in quiet South Hams
Great village and local pub and walks to nearby beaches.
Fantastic family barn
We loved Ohope Barn - finished to a high standard, lots of space for everyone, well furnished, lovely village location and so close to the local beach. Secure garden space to enjoy - our labs loved being outside after their busy days at the beach or coastal path walking and we loved the late afternoon/evening sunshine & bbq. So quiet except for the birdsong. Super location for any season & pub within yards of the front door that serves great food. Embrace the country lanes and enjoy South Devon. :)
Great place to stay, loads of room, well equipped and lovely garden with sea view
