It helped the sun shone all week but you can’t help enjoy the location and house just perfect. If your a walker the coast path is on the doorstep and stunning. Thank you Andrea
An excellent house with a wonderful host
We felt very lucky to have found Belvedere. The house is in the most wonderful setting with walks and views right at the bottom of the garden. The house is spacious and perfectly equipped for a large group, especially if you want to spend lots of time outside!
Andrea was so accommodating and helpful during our stay-we received the most wonderful welcome box of food and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.
We could not recommend this more easily and do hope to one day return to Belvedere.
Fabulous modern house in a stunning location
This is an extremely well positioned house. Spacious and modern with superb views. There is hot tub with a view and the house has all the amenities you need. Andrea the host is very helpful and accommodating. There are lovely walks along the coast path and Woolacombe
is just a short walk along the coast. The village of Mortehoe is lovely. The house has 4 good sized bedrooms upstairs, 2 en-suite and the master bedroom is vast and has a view to die for. There are 2 other sea view bedrooms. We had a superb stay and the house was appreciated from the youngest aged 4 to the eldest aged 75. We hired it for a family celebration and all 10 of us loved it. Can’t wait to return.
Absolutely stunning - a wonderful week in Devon
We had a great week staying at Belvedere, we were a large group covering all ages from 10 months to 73 years old and the house and location catered for all.
The house really has the wow factor and the hot tub is a huge bonus, it really feels like a home from home.
Mortehoe is lovely, the local fish and chip shop is superb and we also had a lovely meal from the Rockleigh takeaway. Would love to return one day!
Dear Caroline, I'm so pleased that you and your family felt at home at Belvedere and enjoyed your holiday. I would love to welcome you back in the future. With Best Wishes, Andrea
Amazing property beautiful location!
As a family with 3 generations staying at Belvedere was perfect, plenty of room in the well equipped house, amazing views and the hot tub was a winner with everyone. Andrea is a pleasure to deal with no questions too big or small. Ultimately the big question is would I stay there again? 100% yes! Thankyou to Andrea for letting us stay in your stunning house
Thank you for your very kind review Richard, I'm so pleased that you and your family enjoyed your holiday at Belvedere. Best Wishes, Andrea
A brilliant house with lots of space and top quality fixtures and fittings
An outstanding location with wonderful views and great walks. Mortehoe is lovely village and is so close to the best North Devon beaches. To top it all Andrea is a great host responding quickly and always very helpful. I would say one of the best stays we have ever had.
Dear Steve, thank you for your very kind review. I'm so pleased that you and your family enjoyed your holiday at Belvedere. All the best, Andrea.
Fabulous local beaches within easy walking distance:
Rockham beach 10 min walk down coastal path (not accessible by car). Great for rock-pooling and beach BBQ's. See if you can spot the rusted remains of the ship wreck!
Grunta beach 15 min walk down coastal path (not accessible by car)
Woolacombe beach 25 min walk down road, slightly longer if you take the coastal path or why not try the cross country path via Mortehoe village car park? 5 min drive, ample parking at beach.
Belvedere is located in the village of Mortehoe.
25 minute walk to Woolacombe, 5 mins drive.
15 minute drive to Illfracombe.
1.4 miles to Bull Point Lighthouse.
Easy access to the Tarka Trail and local bike hire.
Guests with young children are advised that while the roads into Mortehoe and Woolacombe are easily accessible with pushchairs, the coastal route is rather rugged and there are lots of steps. We advise using a baby carrier rather than a pushchair.
