This is a fantastic place to stay for a family. Plenty of room and is like staying in a home. Plenty of local information and information about the accommodation. Close to shops and activities to do in the area, and waking up to that view every day is just so amazing. We highly recommend staying here. Owners were helpful when required and property was easily accessible to find using directions.
Nice modern unit
Fully equipped, very comfortable. A little way out of town but fine if you have a car.
Loch Linnhe views
Clean well equipped apartment even tins of soup etc were there fo us to use. Everything we needed but no wardrobe in the double bedroom(strange! probably due to the layout of the building so not much the owner could've done about it. Comfy beds great shower too. The fresh flowers tulips aptly were a lovely touch. Fantastic views from the bay windows over Loch Linnhe so very well placed
Family Holiday in Fort William
Tulips was the ideal place to stay in Fort William.
The property was spotless, modern and in an ideal location.
Loved staying here and would strongly recommend to anyone.
We will certainly aim to come back.
The Apartment is fantastic- spotlessly clean, very well equipped, a true home from home.
Perfect location for exploring the Highlands and within walking distance of Fort William- but take a torch if walking there after dark.
The Apartment had everything we needed and was very cosy. Lots of personal touches including great tips on where to visit.
We highly recommend this property and would love to visit again.
You are home!
We have stayed in lots of different places in the area as we love the location each time we come to Scotland. This particular home takes the cake. Location, warmth, amenities, decor, pretty much everything was just what you would want in a home away from home - including umbrella’s and a hiking pole!!
Good tip: Do not go shopping before you arrive (there is a huge Morrison’s 5 mins up the road). The reason being is that the pantry is maintained with necessities. Salt, pepper, cooking oil, detergent, soap, tea etc. All of those little things that you end up buying unnecessarily large amounts of in a self catering place. Check the pantry first, here you can find the other people’s excess with some things bought only a day or two before. It makes perfect sense to leave remainders behind knowing that the next person is arriving that afternoon and will probably use that can of tomatoes or chicken soup that you bought one too many of. It was such a practical thing to use the dried herbs and other incidentals that would be wasted if I bought another to use just once. As frequent “self contained visitors”, sometimes it is the logical things that help the most, like paper towel and foil. The apartment was whisper quiet, the water pressure very good, internet and cable great, linen brilliant, best of all the communication was fantastic and we really cannot thank Julia enough for letting us stay at “Tulips”. We will definitely be back and would VERY much recommend this place for people who would like a quality location to stay with every possible thing you can think of. It really was like someone had just walked out of their home and given you the keys 😃
