Why Gemma Pearce chose Andover
Set in the heart of Monxton, this new barn conversion combines rural ideal & striking contemporary design. The barn offers beautiful triple height oak framed space, with a detailed focus on design and interiors. There are multiple areas to relax, play and socialise. The bespoke dining room table has seating for 10, it has a huge entertaining space, a fully fitted kitchen, there is a children's play area, piano, table football and two separate soft seating areas for relaxing and watching the 55", surround sound TV with Sky TV. Accommodation includes 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom & 2 additional day beds (sleeping a total of 6 people). The barn overlooks a landscaped, walled garden and there is ample parking.
What makes this Barn unique
Monxton is a conservation area with a rich history. The houses are all thatched and centred around a river which is accessible via the village green. Multiple walks across the fields of Hampshire are on your door step in the village, with 2 good pubs with great food, wine and roaring fires + 2 riding schools. Additional activities include visits to Stonehenge, fly fishing in Stockbridge on the River Test, a day out at the Hawk Conservancy. Thruxton, a neighbouring village, is home to Thruxton Race Track offering track days, super bike racing, flying lessons and 4x4 experiences. The towns of Winchester, Salisbury, Marlborough and Hungerford are all c.20-30mins drive, Southampton is 40mins drive away. Andover Station offers quick access to London (Waterloo in 65mins).

Fantastic barn in a lovely location
Stayed at this lovely property for my wife’s birthday weekend. Was ideal for us and our 20month old son who had a ball in the garden. Gemma was super helpful pre-trip providing recommendations for a special birthday lunch. We would definitely like to stay here again in the future.
The barn house is out of this world (interior and exterior). We all, kids and adults loved it !!!
Gemma and Richard (and the kids) went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible, helping us with local advice on where to go and where to eat and even helping us find local and fantastic babysitters !
Having a backyard with a trampoline and slides and plenty of room to run around and play made the kids happy (and parents too).
We highly recommend staying here & If possible, we will definitely come.
Will definitely come back again.
Amazing family holiday home. Everything you could possibly need.
The barn is a perfect holiday home for a family. The children had a wonderful time. It had everything a young family needed, including a selection of children books beside the bunkbeds, basically all the little things that make a family holiday so much easier. The location is lovely and quiet, so I managed to get a great nights sleep in the comfy beds. In the morning the sun beamed through the lovely large barn windows and we were able to open both sets of barn doors to refresh ourselves with the lovely countryside air. And it was lovely having some outdoor space for the children to play. We had a lovely time, thank you.
Hi Elizabeth - thank you for your lovely review. We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay in our barn. Best wishes, Gemma
The property was absolutely beautiful in great location. The open plan living was perfect with 2 small children, and the whole place was of a very high specification, certainly no corners cut.
Gemma and Richard struck the perfect balance between being helpful and ensuring we were ok, and leaving us alone to enjoy our break. I would certainly stay again and recommend a stay.
Spacious open planned living space was perfect for little children.
We thoroughly enjoyed our mini break at the stables, and it gave us a fabulous base. The children benefited from having the freedom of the garden, and they were kept entertained with all the things to play with. It makes all the difference when you can't pack your own home into the car!
Thanks for making us feel welcome, and expect another visit if we holiday in the area again in the future.
